The room was very clean and had a modern feel. The bed was comfortable and the surroundings were quiet so it was easy to get a good night's sleep. We also appreciated self check in which was very convenient. We would definitely stay again!

An absolutely beautiful area near public transportation that...

An absolutely beautiful area near public transportation that can take you anywhere you want to go. The hotel restaurant was great for breakfast and lunch and was so convenient. You must take the train into the main square in Graz and enjoy bratwurst at one of the local food stands and take the lift in Schlossberg Hill. Breathtaking views and there's a slide to take you back down to the bottom if you dare.

Very nice place to stay close to Graz.

Very nice place to stay close to Graz. Only negative aspect was one impolite staff member. My question in English regarding hot water for oatmeal was met with scorn and I was directed to the container which stated 'tee'. She then mocked my query to her colleague. I don't speak German well but I understand it perfectly. Her comments were just rude. Perhaps label the container Hot Water? Pity this spoiled what was otherwise a pleasant overnight stay. I still gave 9/10.

I thought that this is a great city.

I thought that this is a great city. I attended a didactic course (which was great itself) and I also found the city very welcoming. Restaurants were good, the historic center excellent, and very good public transportation. Definitely a place to visit.

Graz is a charming city with a fascinating mix of architecture, history, and modern lifestyle. I loved walking through the historic old town, where beautiful traditional buildings blend with contemporary designs, creating a unique atmosphere. Graz has a lively and youthful energy while still preserving its rich heritage. The visit to Schlossberg was a highlight, offering stunning views over the city and a wonderful connection to its history. A truly memorable destination for those who appreciate culture, architecture, and authentic European city experiences. Going down the slide from Schlossberg is a must-try experience. It is a city where adults and children can enjoy

We arrived on a Sunday evening, so most places were already closed. On Monday, many of the museums were closed as well, and with the very hot weather, we felt that two days in Graz were enough for us.
