The pod was excellent. we would have liked to have spent...
The pod was excellent. we would have liked to have spent more time in the reading room but the weather was too good so we were out exploring. It was very comfortable and had a great view of the water. We did nice morning walks along the river and the beach. Very close to good dining facilities and shops. It was nice being able to walk to these.
We would definitely stay in a pod next time as well.

This coastline of Tasmania is one of the best kept secrets- not as touristy as the east coast but so much more stunning and diverse. There is much to see and do, especially if you enjoy hiking in the National parks. The views are stunning with some gorgeous coastal towns. Definitely worth visiting.

Beautiful clear blue water and white sand.
Beautiful clear blue water and white sand. A cafe right on the beach and it looks like they are upgrading the parking and toilet facilities. Surf waves on windy days, on calm days you could snorkel. There's a short walk through the bush with various views of different parts of the rocky coast line and beautiful sandy beaches. We saw a beautiful wallaby around dusk on the bush track. Nearest Woolworths for groceries is 15 minutes away at Wynyard. We drove to Appleby's Mediterraneo Bar & Grill | Boat Harbour (7 mins away from the Beach) for dinner and that was fabulous. Plenty of accommodation units near the beach.

Staying there with 2 teenagers for a national competition, I almost cried when we pulled up and I saw the place - it looked terrible. Provided us somewhere to sleep and shower, that’s all. No room to relax there, no space in room to move, washing machine facilities terrible and food poor.

It's small country town with reasonable facilities.
It's small country town with reasonable facilities. I used Public Library for my personal matters and the staff were very supportive and friendly. I visited nearest light house and Table Cape. It was a very beautiful location and can spend all day with a family.

Ideally located for day trips to Circular Head, including Stanley, as well as closer attractions such as Boat Harbour, Sisters Beach, Tulip Farm and the hinterland. Lots of walking trails along coastline in both directions. All facilities available within 10 minutes at Wynyard

I loved everything about the house.
I loved everything about the house. So comfortable and everything you need . We upgraded to the unit and had the most fantastic views. We were there during the horrific storms and just watched the waves. Can't wait to go back. Thanks Wendy for your excellent communication.
And, there is a great little Cafe by the beach..

The town centre offers two supermarkets, bakery, several take-away cafe's, and other resteraunts, plus several hotels. Great nursery just on the edge of town. Lovely park over the road from the hotel. The newsagency is a pleasure to visit with lots of giftlines and tattslotto. A great place for families to live in.

Wynyard is located in a very picturesque part of Tasmania and provides a good place to stay to further explore the other areas of the north west coast.
The town has all the facilities you need, with two supermarkets, two hotels, banks as well as several eateries, clothing shops and second hand stores to name just a few.

So many places surrounding Table Cape, easily spend your days exploring. From beaches to bush land, even waterfalls nearby. Boat harbour is omg amazingly beautiful and the most gorgeous beach in Tasmania. The views from Table Cape are breath taking.
