For an old er establishment The Limani was exceptional. The room was perfect....spacious, very clean, great kitchenette (we always travel with food), good bathroom with lots of hooks (there can never be too many hooks) and the most amazing view. I woke up at dawn and just lay in our very comfy bed and watched the water and the black swans and a big ship sail out of port. Also, and easy ten minute walk down to the town where we had a refreshing swim and a few cold beers at the Grand Tasman and then dinner at the Italian.

The facility was on the outskirts of town but close enough for an easy minute drive into the centre. The area was quiet. It had nearly everything we needed in the kitchen in terms of pots, pans etc. Very comfortable space for the 2 of us.

North Shields is a friendly, local community with a good pub...

North Shields is a friendly, local community with a good pub which is a meeting place for locals. We have personal friends who live there which was a definite advantage to us but most people will find the environment welcoming.

There is so much to see & do in Port Lincoln & the...

There is so much to see & do in Port Lincoln & the surrounding towns on the Eyre Peninsula with nice restaurants, good wineries although one was closing down soon. The coastline on the Eyre Peninsula is stunning & the views from the National Parks were great.

Short drives to places was good. The staff were really good.

Short drives to places was good. The staff were really good. Did not use laundry as it was dirty and the fridge in the laundry was putrid, rotten food in fridge and dryers not working. Cabins need to be improved such as more appliances and cooking equipment and more power outlets. Apart from those issues cabin is good, freshly renovated just needs improving.

I think Port Lincoln is just beautiful a bit on the busy...

I think Port Lincoln is just beautiful a bit on the busy side but for the many things you can do and see the traffic doesn't really bother you much the people we met were very friendly and it had a very happy atmosphere we will visit again one day soon

Good location to explore nearby national parks (Lincoln and Coffin Bay) and towns for the day - Tumby Bay, Coffin Bay and Cummins. Though we did not do, Coffin Bay cruises sounded good and shark cage diving would suit the adventurous. Could have stayed couple more days. Seafood is magnificent all along the coast to Ceduna.
