Brimley was a quiet town with a lot to offer.
Brimley was a quiet town with a lot to offer. Restaurants, gas station, beautiful views of the Bay.
We followed the coast to the West, stopped at Iroquois Lighthouse, Tahquanomon Falls, and Whitefish Point. Just 2 miles down the road from our motel in Brimley is Bay Mills casino. Was a wonderful surprise to us. Great food & fun to end our day.

We could have used an extra day to do more exploring. Grandsons wanted to spend any available time fishing. They enjoyed the Tower of History and the Soo Locks, including the boat tour going through the Locks. Note there is a package rate for 3 of the Sault Historic Sites; Valley Camp, Tower of History and the River History. Be sure to stop in and tour the Visitor Center inside the St. Marys Falls Canal War Dept. Corps of Engineers Park. We read a book on the Soo Locks on the drive up. The Visitor Center had all the information you could ask and an Observation pavilion. The boys 10 and 14 years old enjoyed the operations of the Locks simulator. We felt the prices were family friendly and plenty of camping sites if you are looking to cut expenses.

Glad we came to visit. Also go for an early walk on the boardwalk
Im the afternoon the Beavertails and the icecream is perfect for afternoon walk pn boardwalk and see around

My son loves the big boats.
My son loves the big boats. Being able to check on the app or call the hot line as to weekday what ships were coming when made the stay even better. There's so much to see there that it made the stay even better.

THE SHOGUN ASIAN RESTAURANT IS A MUST TRY. THEY HAVE AN ALL YOU CAN EAT MENU FROM A TABLET. THE VIEWS ARE AWESOME. THE PEOPLE ARE GREAT AND VERY FRIENDLY. THERE ARE SO MANY PLACES TO EAT AND SHOP. NOT TO MENTION CAMPING, FISHING AND HIKING.

The Soo is a border town and as such has the expected...
The Soo is a border town and as such has the expected industry/businesses that come with that. With that said, it has a nice downtown, plenty of sights to see, and is a great place to base out of if you want to explore the NE corner of UP.

A quiet hotel which, for me, is important. I am usually travelling the next day and a good rest is needed. The breakfast is good. The location is convenient to get back on the road and lots of restaurants nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve stayed many times here.
