This hotel is in a perfect location, just a short walk from downtown and surrounded by amazing restaurants. (Peters Pasta is AMAZING) Whether you’re in the mood for casual bites or upscale dining, there’s something nearby to satisfy any craving.
The convenience of being so close to everything made our stay super easy and enjoyable. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and had great service. I’d absolutely recommend it, especially if you’re looking to explore the city without needing to drive everywhere.

I live an hour outside Kamloops so I'm very familiar with it. It has grown extensively over the years. There is a lot to do, especially outdoors, but it's VERY busy and can be a bit of a chore to get around because of all the traffic. It is beautiful and there are a number of walking/hiking trails around.

We went with friends to a New Year’s Eve party at the Columbo Lodge (also called the Italian Cultural Centre). The evening was fantastic. The music was great (covered lots of genres but mostly the 80’s), the food was plentiful and delicious and the venue was nicely decorated. It was a very fun night.

Kamloops isn't the regular stopping point for many.
Kamloops isn't the regular stopping point for many. We made use of the various walks, the Kenna Cartwright park had a fabulous ridge walk. We ate in the Noble Pig, walkable from the accommodation and well worth the visit.
Kamloops lake is very popular if you have a boat or like fishing. It is a town of many sports, we even found a "horseshoe" court! Wild deer came into town to eat the overflowing vegetables at the community gardens. A sight to remember
