We had an amazing stay at the Blue Horizon! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with any request. My room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with a stunning view that made each morning feel special. The amenities, especially the pool were fantastic and well-maintained. I also enjoyed dining at their restaurant—delicious food and a great ambiance. Overall, I had a memorable experience and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, top-notch getaway!

Lovely hotel and location. Our stay was short so did not use spa, pools etc. But we went for a wonderful walk through a nut farm and neighborhood with beautiful houses to admire! The lake was beautiful. Wish we had had a longer stay planned here! Room was comfortable and clean. Good coffee. Close to restaurants, starbucks and some stores. Only complaint is can't check in til 5pm and have to be out by 10 am. Most hotels 3 or 4 pm check in, and 11 am check out.

We had a wonderful stay at Mackenzie Beach Resort in the Airstream trailer. The beach access nearby made the sunset walks at the beach so easy. The hot tub was a great bonus, and it was our first time camping in a trailer, so it was fun getting the full RV experience. The twinkling lights in the evening made the whole place feel extra cozy and relaxing.

Our first time in Whister.

Our first time in Whister. We enjoyed the walkable interesting village, the town museum and excellent cultural centre, watching the fearsome muddy bikers, and the river water changing colour from milky tea to beautiful glacial aqua. The highlight was the Peak to Peak experience on a windy day with sunny moments amidst a wide variety of cloud formations above, and below us. Of course the rich flavours of Ucluelet tuna lunch at Christina's, our attempt at a hike in the very cold wind and that wind buffetting our three gondolas. Overall the awesomely intriguing vistas constantly reshaped by clouds. This octogenarian aims to come back to explore more.

I live an hour outside Kamloops so I'm very familiar with it. It has grown extensively over the years. There is a lot to do, especially outdoors, but it's VERY busy and can be a bit of a chore to get around because of all the traffic. Penticton was a gem of a surprise for us. We are Alaska residents and this was our first time to drive south to the lower 48 and our first time to visit Penticton, of which we knew nothing. Now I can see this as a destination in itself for it was just the right size for us to have an enjoyable time and not be dealing with very crowded conditions.
