We were in Kitchener for 2 days to learn about Mennonite...

We were in Kitchener for 2 days to learn about Mennonite culture, visit the farmers and antique markets in nearby St.Jacobs, and to go to a museum. Downtown Kitchener is small but cute with wonderful architecture. We had a car so I cannot speak to the efficiency of pubic transit.

Picturesque city where drivers stopped to let the geese and goslings cross the road. Dinners at The Keg, Golf Steakhouse, Namaste and breakfasts at the Sunset and others on the Hespeler Hwy were all top notch,

Very clean. Easy to get around. People were friendly. Downtown was close and had some great food options. Free parking downtown was a surprise Ate at Formosa and at Jacks next to the Holiday Inn. Farmers market was only 100 yards away

Visited a new restaurant called Ward One Smokehouse &...

Visited a new restaurant called Ward One Smokehouse & Brewery and it was great to say the least. The hotel I stayed at is close to gas stations, grocery store, Tim's restaurants. I come for the Ribfests in the summer, but there's places to go in winter

Easy, well lit entry. Contact was quick to respond. Very private, extremely clean and welcoming. Little extras, water bottles available, lovely table set up, extra blankets really available. Bathroom very clean with heated floor.(room was cold when we arrived, but heated up using the gas fireplace and adjusting thermostat) Really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend, will return.

I've stayed at other Supper 8 Motel in the past, they were not bad this is why I consider this as a choice, It was the worst mistake! This place is disgusting and dirty!! The room is completely run down, we didn't want to use the bathroom, we avoided it and only used it if absolutely necessary, we checked in after 7pm but left and came back around 12am, so when we got back it was too late to look for another hotel. We checked out immediately the next day, we paid for 2 nights. Not worth the price, this hotel should not charge more than $30 a night for the room quality.

Beautiful rooms. Spacious and bright. Close to everything. Ate Friday night at Jacks. Went to farmers market Sat. Dinner for grandsons graduation at the Bauer House ...terrific spot! Did downtown St.Jacobs on Sun. The stores and bakery. Love it here!

Guelph is super-duper rad!

Guelph is super-duper rad! Great food, great shopping, great people. Hiking is also a plus - the Guelph Lake Conservation Area was beautiful. Everywhere we went was fully staffed with helpful enthusiastic people.

It is very easy to get around Kitchener by GRT (Grand River...

It is very easy to get around Kitchener by GRT (Grand River Transit) or by Light Rail. Downtown Kitchener is within walking distance where there are plenty of restaurants for the choosing. We also opted to purchase groceries at the nearby Grocery outlet called Central Fresh Market. Trip Advisor Kitchener is very helpful as a source of information.

Lovely town on the Grand River with stone buildings.

Lovely town on the Grand River with stone buildings. Attended a wedding at CAMBRIDGE MILLS. Such a beautiful setting. Great HAMILTON FAMILY THEATRE with great plays. Lots of shops and restaurants. Loved My Thai.
