BulgariaKarin was an EXCELLENT host. Made me feel welcome from the beginning of my stay right until the end. Helped me to organise a taxi from the centre of town to the guest house when I first arrived, AND arranged transport to the airport the next morning. Even brought myself and the other guest who was staying there at the time some lovely home-made cake. This didn't feel like staying at a hotel or a guest house, it felt like staying at an aunty's house.
The building is in a good location for those flying into / out of Memmingem airport, it is close enough to the airport that if you wanted to, you could walk there from the guest house. The room was large and well-lit, with a nice balcony to sit and relax. The bed was comfortable. All necessary amenities provided, in fact there were even more towels and so forth available than required. The entire building was clean and well-maintained.
This was probably my best Booking experience so far, and I have been traveling for years. Next time I visit Memmingem, I would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Good location for people using Memmingerberg airport. Unfortunately there was no staff to help despite us informing them of our arrival time. We had asked that we would need a taxi to take us back to the airport at 5 a.m. but there was no one there to help us. We (two people in our mid seventies) were faced with a kilometre walk, dragging our luggage to the airport at 5 a.m. in the morning when it was cold, dark and damp. Get some staff or at least provide notices with info on things like taxis and how to get help with problems that occur.

I only spent one night there so I can't say too much about...
I only spent one night there so I can't say too much about the area, however within two minutes walk from the guest house there is a nice Italian restaurant where I had dinner. Trunklesberg is right next to Memmingem where there are lots of cafes and restaurants. It cost me 18 euro for a taxi from the middle of Memmingem to the guest house.

Convenient stop over in Allgäu - I was flying out of Memmingen Airport the next morning. Friendly, quiet town wsome interesting architecture. I loved the storks that have made it their home - there were nests everywhere

Our experience in FeWo Ottobeurens Schmuckstück Gemütlich-Stylische Wohnung - AMETHYST was absolutely delightful 😍! The apartment is outstanding - impeccably clean, comfortable, designed with a taste and love, to the very last detail 🔝. It had all equipment and consumables needed not only for a short but also for a longer stay. All that, added to the garden and the yard, being green and fresh, the aroma smells of trees and herbs, as well as the gentle plays of the crickets makes you feel you are in a luxury mountain spa-resort 🥰. The hosts Geri and Ivan are absolutely marvelous people and top-professionals 😍- they helped us with lots of precious information - places to dine, shopping outlets, kids' entertainments, logistics' advice, etc. We are bookmarking this place in our favourities and are looking forward to be back there in the future 😊! Thank you, Geri and Ivan for the outstanding hospitality, accommodation and for making our stay so pleasant ❤️!

Erkheim is a small place, we used it just to sleep over.
Erkheim is a small place, we used it just to sleep over. We travelled to Munich every day from there. It is close to FMM airport so it is good place if you visit some bigger town or city in southern Germany.

This is a pretty family run hotel easy to find in the centre of the village. I think if it’s full parking may be an issue.
The restaurant in the evening served wonderful home cooked food. The chef could speak very good English and came out to explain everything to us and made recommendations. There was water in the bedrooms. I found the bedroom very very hot for me. But I would recommend a stay here and I would stay again.

We in Lviv (and, more general, in Ukraine) know Memmingen...
We in Lviv (and, more general, in Ukraine) know Memmingen mostly as the place of the airport for Wizzair flights from Ukrainian cities.
However, Memmingen itself is a "German-German" city, well-preserved historical sight with a flavour of the old Germany and Bayern.
After crowded and sometimes not very hospital Munich we appreciated that worm welcome we had during our short stay.
I wish we could learn more about this city and I believe we will spend more time there, next time.

It is a wonderful town to visit. Nice, lots of history, there are nice historical churches, a museum, nice restaurants and coffee places. If you ever get the change, please visit for a nice small german town experience.

We loved how well-connected Ottobeuren is for exploring the region. It's an excellent base for day trips to Neuschwanstein Castle, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and other beautiful spots in the Allgäu. Everything is within easy reach by car, making it ideal for those wanting to explore both local and cross-border destinations without constant hotel-hopping.
Locally, Ottobeuren offers quaint streets, excellent bakeries, supermarkets, and cozy cafés, all within walking distance. It's the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Whether you're into nature, history, or just looking for a peaceful retreat with great access to some of Central Europe's most iconic landmarks, Ottobeuren ticks all the boxes.

Very clean self contained apartment with fridge/freezer. You could stay for a week.
McDonalds is at the back of the apartment, its a short walk to the shopping centre over the back and there is a garage at the end of the road. Bad Gronenbach is under the motorway a couple of restaurants and 2 supermarkets but well worth a visit.
Make sure when you book with booking.com the hotel is open. When we arrived at 7.30 pm the road was closed and as we were on a motorbike we had to ride across the grass verge to get in.
Thankfully our room was waiting for us. Check the road works on your journey there as we were held up and arrived 3 hours late.

It is a 5 minute walk to/from the train/bus station. Very easy for airport access as there is a bus service to FMM for 3,50€ every 30 minutes. And the hotel rooms are very clean and nice. Friendly and helpful staff. This is my second stay.

Super close to the Airport by foot. You can walk there. Easy self check, due to clear instructions. Room for 2 has 2 beds, a table and a wardrobe (even moist people will probably not use it much, as most people come here to fly from Memmingen Airport). Overall pleasant stay and it was calm at night.

Nice hotel, everything was new! Check-in with code (self) as we arrived very late, after midnight. Close to the train station, Flixbus stop and also really close to FMM airport. Recommend it to everyone!
