The charming appearance of the hotel and its clean, cozy rooms were big attractors that drew me to stay here. The price was also very reasonable, especially when factoring in the exceptional service I had while here. The hosts (husband and wife who have been running the hotel for 30 years), are very nice people and cater to every need. Dinner here was also amazing both nights I stayed. All around, a lovely stay in Weeze!

The owner is really kind, send message to me before arrival and explained how to get the key 🔑. Room is very clean, bed is very comfortable, location is very quiet. Too bad we arrived in the night and left 4 in the morning, so we have no chance to enjoy sunshine in terrace.

We were welcomed at the property by the host and shown around with a good explanation of how everything worked. It was spacious and modern accommodation with an outdoor area in quiet surroundings. There is access to a walking path around the lake that was close by. The breakfast was fantastic.

Weeze Airport (NRN) is just over 2 miles (4 kilometres) from Weeze and just over 4 miles (7 kilometres) from Kevelaer. It’s set on the German border with The Netherlands, so it offers lots of direct connections to further-afield cities including Düsseldorf, Cologne and Utrecht. The airport provides shuttle buses during the day to Weeze and Kevelaer stations, where the twice-hourly RE10 Düsseldorf train departs.

There are a couple of hotels with shuttle services just over a mile (2 kilometres) from the airport, if you need a place to stay between flights. I requested a room with two separate beds, for two people.
The room we got only had one bed, one towel, and was clearly made for only one person. (I can provide photos for proof.)
We tried calling the service/help number that was listed on the check-in display - but there was no answer. Even more so, I believe it was a non-existent number.
I also wanted to either request a refund or a compensation, but Booking.com makes this very difficult (if not outright impossible).
Otherwise OK place, nice hot shower, short distance (15-20min walk) to the airport.

This was our fifth visit to Irrland.
This was our fifth visit to Irrland. My kid enjoys the park, the animals, and the many attractions. Our hotel (Park Hotel) was awesome, especially the pool. The only negative thing about the Irrland park is that it is difficult to navigate for seniors or people relying on a walker, because the sand gets into the gears, which makes pushing a walker really difficult. If there were more paths covered with grass, wood chips, stones, or asphalt, the walking disabled could move along better. We sure did a lot of walking! The fast food at the kiosks was very tasty (we had French fries, chicken nuggets, and pizza, what kids love), and the personnel was very nice. We will return until my child becomes too old for such kind of amusement.

Nice little German town.
Nice little German town. Seems to have all the normal facilities. Close to the Dutch border. Normal for older German towns, the one-way streets can be confusing but that's about the same every-where.

I just cycled through the village.
I just cycled through the village. It was sunday and very quiet. I ate at the restaurant De Vier Linden and the food was awesome! It's easy to get around Vierlingsbeek for me since I was on the bicycle.

It's a small pilgrimage city with chapels and a basilque church, if you like the atmosphere it's a nice place to be. Nearby you have also Irrland, childrens playpark, also Kalkar and Kleve are all near. plenty to do all within 15-30 minutes drives.

The city center is really nice.
The city center is really nice. We lived in the Netherlands for some years and this city reminded us of the freshness of Dutch cities.
We tried some restaurants there, but the one that really surprised us is "La Friterie": the owners are really nice, they make real German specialities at a very affordable price. The restaurant is also charming for its location and the decoration inside.

A small village that is quiet and pretty. Some interesting buildings to see and the area around it is famland and some forests. Lots of excellent walking routes with information and signage. One of the more prettier parts of the Netherlands.

One night in this hotel was plenty.
One night in this hotel was plenty. It feels like a detention centre. Weeze town is only a couple of km away with much prettier hotels that may have some facilities. Best deal did not even have vending machines for snacks or refreshments, and without a car its difficult to get to weeze. The bus runs once an hour and stops at 17.30.

it was 2 nights stay in Kevelaer and on the 2nd day dedicated to worship GOD by participating 2x the holy masses, 1x rosary pray, visit the main church , in between lunch in e the Golden Swan restaurant, which is very good taste. in Parkhotel we got the simple buffet breakfast, but it is satisfied not a lavished one of course .
I highly recommend Park Hotel with very good location and cleanliness.
