It was a pleasant surprise. Located directly on the bus route to the airport and only 1 stop from the airport.
Both the daytime and night time shift reception staff were 100% professional & helpful in answering my.many questions.
The bathroom sink counter should be the standard for all hotets. A lot of table top.

This property is a 5 minute taxi ride to the airport. The owner arranged the taxi and confirmed the time with us the night before. There is a beautiful walking path along the river and it is conveniently located near restaurants and grocery stores. The room was spacious with a large shower.

We had a sudden change of travel plans and this place really helped us out last minute. We had been rerouted and would be landing in La Coruña at midnight with nowhere to go after traveling for 36 hours. Alberto connected with me on whatsapp and arranged for online check-in so we would have a place to rest before continuing our journey the next day. Truly heaven sent. We were so grateful to be able to shower, rest, and have a nice breakfast. Self check in was easy. The hotel very clean, very comfortable, and everyone was very kind. They we able to get us a taxi right away. It really saved us, and we are so grateful. Gracias Alberto!

Hostess is at the front desk until 11:30 p.m. She was very helpful in arranging a taxi for early in the morning, answering question about the internet access and how to turn in our door key cards in the a.m.

A quiet, comfortable, quaint little spot near the sea. The staff was so, so kind and I loved my stay. There’s also a nice patio to sit out with coffee, etc. Highly recommend and I think it’s better than some 3-4 star hotels I’ve stayed in. The beach is a 5-minute walk from the property.

The hotel was very close to the airport, and we were arriving fairly late, so the auto-check in was convenient for us. We even managed to get a bus part of the way from the airport!
The hotel was just what we expected, clean, warm and convenient. Having food available in the morning from the machines was also helpful, as we left early. I paid for a pack of cheese from the machine, which got stuck on the way down, but was happy to see that my card had been refunded when I returned home. Wonderful!

Santa Cruz is a small, quiet cove with views of the city/port - A Coruna in North West Spain. The staff in the few local restaurants were very helpful and the prices of meals/drinks very reasonable. The local community members were well behaved and we were pleased to see families enjoying their Sundays together. We enjoyed the local school of music demonstrating their talents. The coastal walk was excellent. We are a senior couple not looking for evening entertainment, however we are sure that a bus ride into the City (A Coruna) would provide more night life.

Everything in the city is just great, the people, places to visit, the food is great, bars/restaurants. ( you must try "Chocolate con Churros" At Bonilla cafeteria). Getting around is very easy. I ate in different places, for different foods. Easy to find nearby beaches, and somewhere to swim by the harbour etc. Very underrated city, maybe because the weather is not the "Med" type, though this time was quite hot and sunny every day. Also a visit to the "Roman" light house "is" a must, the only Roman lighthouse still working in the world.

We chose A Coruña as a relaxing weekend after completing a leg of the Camino de Santiago. The beaches are beautiful so was ideal for that! It is a very clean and welcoming city with lots to see and do. The views from Torre de Hercules and Monte de San Pedro are spectacular. The DOMUS (Museum of Human Kind) was very interesting to see on a rainy morning. The cafe bar culture is busy and fun. And the food in the Galicia region is super. Would highly recommend a visit to A Coruña.

The beach was excellent but very few restaurants/cafe's right there.
The Torre de Hercules was amazingly interesting and had great views.
Old town was busy and noisy but lots of restaurants there.
Maria Pita Square with glass balconies and posh eateries worth seeing.
It's a big commercial city so allow time to get to/fro airport or bus station.
