Very clean and modern. We were in town for just one night for my son's basketball game. We weren't at the house much but the sauna looked amazing. wow, just wow!

- The staff were nice and helpful
- They located the room in a quiet area (far from street noises) and gave extra pillows as I asked earlier.
- The breakfast buffet was also great, varied choices to make.

Location near the marketplace and waterfront are perfect. There is a shared kitchenette on every floor with plenty of refrigerator room (microwave but no stove). The beds are more comfortable than most others we experienced.

Very centrally located, clean & convenient accommodation option in Joensuu. I loved the historical milieu. The entry for Saunakeidas was a nice added plus! The instructions were clear and everything worked :)
Breakfast was fine. There were only boiled eggs -- fried or scrambled would have been nicer.

It is a small town with not much to see.
It is a small town with not much to see. The sauna is "a thing" there. So I think it is a MUST to experience in a Nordic town. The food was not so great. However, the vegetables and fruits at the market square were fresh and delicious.
