Perfect location and upscale hotel with the most efficient and helpful staff

The hotel has historic roots going back to the 18th century and Louis the XVI, beautifully renovated and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and gracious and full of helpful tips for restaurants and enjoying the island via bike. The breakfasts were exceptional, such fun to enjoy each morning. We stayed 5 nights. Kudos to the staff.

From the moment we arrived- we were welcomed by the receptionist with a smile and she was very helpful. Unfortunately, I can’t remember her name… the room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable! I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely be back if I get to La Rochelle again! Beautiful town but we didn’t get to spend enough time there!

Staff was helpful and venue met our expectations. They also called us when we forgot our dog's food plates in the room, but we were too far. The point is, they were considerate enough to call and let us know.

Perfect for someone traveling. Easy check in, parking in front of your room, great shower, air conditioning and really comfortable beds. The family room are two connecting rooms which is also ideal if you're traveling with children.

They let us stay but the pool before check in time and help us to book nice place for dinner.

Good Location 30 minute walk -on the bay- from downtown, convenient if you have a car, it has parking; , very clean, inclusive of breakfast, very good value

Great cozy hotel. The location is perfect, just a pleasant 5-7 minute walk from the city center. Comfy bed and nice shower. Parking available. A big thanks to the brilliant staff who provided us with all possible recommendations on the La Rochelle visit. Highly recommend!

The room had a full size bed and a twin bed and we used both after having a few nights in cramped full size beds. The neighborhood was quiet and I got a good night's sleep. The buffet style breakfast was good, with the option of boiling eggs to your preference. It was a short walk to the historic downtown and harbor. There is parking in front of the hotel for unloading and I did find street parking just a short walk back to the hotel.

The location is great, super close to the main attractions and wallking distance to the train station. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great.

The location was absolutely fantastic! The directions were very helpful. Although the room was small, the bathroom was a great size, shower was fantastic with lots of hot water, bed was super comfortable. The view of the Jim Morrison mural from our window was unexpected - we loved all the art and neat decor throughout. The morning brunch was top rate and well worth the price. The secure parking was appreciated as well. The staff were the BEST!!! So helpful, friendly and attentive to detail. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.
