This place is a gem! Location was very convenient to rail (near airport) with ample parking. Short ride to the center of Strasbourg. I would stay there again.
The room was very comfortable. Nice layout. Bed firm and pillows were soft which made for an excellent night sleep. Room was very quiet and we did not have any noise disturbance. Entire facility is nicely decorated, outside the balconies were covered with flowers and inside the restaurant were finished with wood paneling. Breakfast buffet was typical European with everything freshly served. We did have dinner at the restaurant one evening. Service was good and food prepared to perfection.

The village was lovely and picturesque, we stayed for a family wedding and visited the surrounding villages which were all lovely. The locals were Friendly and the food was delicious.
The owner of the property was very helpful, we had a couple of requests such as a kettle and batteries for the remote, which she delivered promptly for us. The Wi-Fi signal was intermittent, although we did manage to use Netflix once or twice. The apartment was very cozy, close to the shops. There was some noise from above during the day but quiet at night.
All in all the apartment was cozy, well equipped and had a lovely feel about it, I would recommend it if you are travelling to Alsace, not too far from Strasbourg either.

Such a pleasure to stay there WE find it was a privilege to stay there . Big room with kitchenette and dining area for two and a large ensuite bathroom. Plenty of floor space and room to move around.
We booked and got the last available room, we only stayed for one night. Next time we go in this area we will plan to stay for more days. We feel we got special service and private parking – we came about 20:00 and unlimited assistance.
We have our dog with us which was no problem. The hotel is in a small country town – worth exploring. The hotel is 5 min drive from the motorway but worth driving these extra kilometres
The owner is very welcoming -, warm and friendly. One again thank you for having us. We will come again.

It is a spacious apartment that is self contained and very private. The host Nathalie is excellent and speaks a little English too.
The apartment was well equipped, quiet, warm, comfortable and very relaxing; we loved it and would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing break - just to get away from the stresses of daily life.

Ostwald is lovely ,just make sure stay at b&b ostwald sud ,rue ferdinand and avoid booking Kooglof Maison as unfortunately proved to be very unreliable host and cancelled our accommodation not once but twice. Very frustrating and upsetting when your trying to organise smooth running stop overs for outwardand return journey's and paid in advance too. B&B Ostwald sud saved the day on our outward journey and Château de werdd on our return journey .So a big thank you to them both.

Very quiet and convenient location to visit Strasbourg. A tramway goes from Illkirch-Graffenstaden to the centre of Strasbourg and runs every 15 minutes until midnight.
Very nice and pleasant dinner at the Auberge du Cerf, including an excellent tartes flambée

Thanks to the tram stop this area is very convenient for accessing the city centre, there is a little to do in Illkirch, including a few restaurants, and a supermarket on the next tram stop. We used the hotel as a base and travelled into town each day using a 24hr ticket for 1-3 people which was very cost effective. Keen walkers will be able to walk into town. The train station at Krimmeri has links to the tram line, from the train that connects with Baden Baden for those flying in from there.
