United StatesSigma Signature Villas are an absolute gem. We were initially hesitant to book because the property was newly listed and had no reviews, but we are so glad we did. Traveling with a baby and a toddler can be demanding, and Maria, Yannis, and George were incredibly hospitable, making sure we had everything we needed.
The location was excellent: very close to the airport, yet quiet, peaceful, and serene, with beautiful sea views and a lovely view toward Naxos Town. There were also many dining and takeout options just a quick five-minute drive away.
We loved the villa’s design, which was elegant, clean, and modern while still fitting beautifully with the Cycladic scenery. The mattress was also excellent, and we slept incredibly well.
Overall, our stay was wonderful. Between the elegant design, the excellent location, and the heartfelt hospitality, it truly felt like Greek hospitality at its best.

It is a long beach and has a spot for everyone: families, a younger crowd, and honeymooners. There are more beautiful beaches on this island, but this one is perfect to wake up to, grab a coffee, and hang out before you go to the other beaches.

I found Agia Anna and Naxos perfect for a week of swimming, reading and some local walks. The sunsets were spectacular and the food amazing. The local beaches: Prokopius and Plaka are the kind where you stay and dip in and out of the sea all day. Agia Anna is delightful with fishing boats dotted along the pier

Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for accomodation and walking distance to a lovely beach if the north wind is not blowing. Only two restaurant options to walk to at night but it has easy access to hill towns and beaches to the south by car. It's out of the hectic vibes of Naxos Town and very quiet at night so a good night sleep is ensured!

Plaka beach is wonderful and has some organised areas with sunbeds and some quieter areas. The sea is amazing and great for swimming. Good tavernas close by (The 3 Brothers was our favourite) and also 2 well-stocked supermarkets.

Naxos Chora completely stole our hearts!
Naxos Chora completely stole our hearts! It is vibrant, beautiful, and full of life, with charming whitewashed streets, picturesque alleys, boutique shops, and a wonderful atmosphere from morning until late at night.
Every walk through the old town revealed something new, from stunning views of the Portara at sunset to cozy cafés and traditional tavernas serving delicious local cuisine. The energy of the town is contagious, yet it still feels authentic and welcoming.
A special mention goes to Waffle House, which truly lived up to its reputation. The ice cream and waffles were absolutely incredible and became a daily treat during our stay. It’s a place you simply can’t miss!
Naxos Chora perfectly combines history, culture, amazing food, and genuine Greek hospitality. It is one of the most beautiful island towns we’ve visited, and we’ll definitely be back.

Glinado is not a destination - It's a brilliant take-off...
Glinado is not a destination - It's a brilliant take-off point. From here you can plan your visits and excursions around the island. This obviously means you will require a rental car or motorised vehicle (although there is a regular bus service in the village). This makes it a really terrific location for either heading down to the beaches about ten minutes away by car, or heading up to the beautiful mountain villages which are about twenty minutes from Glinado. Or into Naxos itself - about 10/15 minutes drive and walk. The village itself has a great butchers, an internet café, a breakfast café, a very handy small supermarket, a grill restaurant and a bakery. Best of all, you don't have to put up with all the seafront beach bar clubs banging out endlessly repetitive AI composed chill out vibes. Highly recommended for the seasoned, independent traveller.

lovely place to stay at and best of all Tosas mom was the sweetest and makes all homemade goods and breakfast, youll never get hungry here . we were greeted with plentiful of fruits and homebaked goods.the place was quiet and had the best views of the town and seaview..we wished we stayed here longer..they clean the place everyday and provides fresh towels and beddings changed everyday. Tosas had given us ideas to where to go and see some attractions and restaurants too.. we loved our stay here..

I stayed at the far end of Plaka Beach away from the crowds, which suited me. It’s a beautiful sandy beach, with hardly any people.You can walk all the way to Naxos Chora along the beach, about 10 kilometres.

Vivlos is conveniently located about ten minutes from Naxos Town and roughly the same to local beaches. There are four or five local taverna's selling simple, good value, Greek food. The bakery is excellent and there is also a small supermarket and butchers. It's a good base from which to explore the island with walking trails marked out from there

This is the 3rd time we have visited Agios Prokopios, but it...
This is the 3rd time we have visited Agios Prokopios, but it will be the last. The beautiful beach has been completely taken over by the adjacent restaurants, who charge up to 40 Euros a day for 2 sunbeds PLUS a minimum cover charge for for food or drinks. In some cases, this is an additional 25 Euro, so for a family of 4, that is 130 Euros a day.
There is very little space left to put your own towel down, so we had little option but to rent quad bikes so that we could find a beach with no rip-off sunbeds.
Naxos used to be our favourite Greek island, but we are done with it now.
