The stay in Naxos was wonderful. I would especially emphasize the kindness and care of the host during the entire stay. From useful information, to asking if everything was okay on the excursions, and they even welcomed me and escorted me out of the port. The owner prepared breakfast and cakes for the guests, which was not expected at all. The accommodation itself is a story in itself. I have traveled a lot, but I have seen such a beautifully decorated and tastefully designed ambience in few places. The location was perfect. The guesthouse is a few steps away from important points, and on the other hand, close to a rocky beach with a wonderful view.

I expected a nice hotel, and Akre Hotel greatly exceeded these expectations, which was wonderful! Mrs Eleni and her team, Mrs Despina, Elena, and Chrysa, are amazing hosts. Akre Hotel is a brand new hotel that is beautifully designed, has excellent facilities, and has its own private beach. The sea water where they are located is very clean and crystal clear, we loved it, and we really enjoyed the privacy there. It goes without saying that the view from the hotel is breathtaking. Another thing we enjoyed was the food, the breakfast is healthy and has a traditional touch, and there are delicious options for lunch and dinner. Some rooms have their own jacuzzi, an option I definitely recommend, because it was very relaxing to just stay there after spending the day at the beach. Location is always important, so not only is Akre Hotel situated nicely, but it is also close to Agios Prokopios Beach, with the restaurants that are next to it, and a petrol station. Last but not least, I really appreciate how Mrs Eleni and everyone at Akre Hotel were very friendly, very helpful, and very keen on us having an amazing time; this was one of the best places I ever stayed in!

During my recent stay at this beautiful hotel in Naxos, on Plaka beach, I was truly impressed by the stunning beachfront location, modern setup of the rooms, amazing pool and the overall relaxing atmosphere. The sunbeds overlooking the crystal-clear waters made it a perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of enjoyable, always greeting us with a warm smile and ready to assist with any requests. Eirini at Elite Suites was so friendly and welcoming. She even provided little treats which were left in our room when we got back in the evening. Our room was lovely and clean and the location was perfect in-between the port of Naxos and the beautiful beach. I would stay again and would highly recommend.

We stayed at Mirabelle Luxury Villas for 2 nights in late October and it was absolutely perfect...exceeded our expectations and more! So happy with our stay! The decor and architecture is very thoughtfully and beautifully designed. The attention paid to detail with each property having a Bluetooth speaker that you can play by the pool, TV with signed in Netflix, makeup towels, hairdryer with a diffuser, comfortable bed and so much more makes the stay super comfortable. The private pool is just perfect with a beautiful view of Plaka👌. We barely left the room during our stay and we made most of the pool. The breakfast basket each morning was delicious and filling with local produce...pastries, yogurt, breads, fruit and juice! So yummy and probably the best breakfasts we've had. Vicky was a great host and was really friendly and approachable with anything we needed. We were looked after very well. Can't recommend this property enough!

If you enjoy boutique hotels over big hotels, Naxian on the Beach is THE place for you. Everything about this place is pleasing. Great location, great staff that make you feel at home, especially manager Antonis and owner Maria who were on premises everyday, helped us with everything we needed from restaurant reservations to excursion plans. The beach is the best one in Naxos with golden sands and prestine waters that make you feel like you’re in Bahamas or Maldives. Hotel’s restaurant Tortuga is one of the best on the whole island also serves a beach menu which was very tasty. The beach is very spacious with sunbeds and umbrellas apart from others unlike other beach clubs which are packed like sardine cans. As a bonus, beautiful sunset.

Sweet Home is located in a quite area, 15-20 minutes walking distance from the port. There is a bakery and a supermarket nearby. And best of all, there's also an excellent takeout restaurant. A public parking is also nearby. The day of arrival, Elfteris came to pick us up at the port. Every morning Vatho and Lefteris prepared and brought a hearty breakfast to us. Our comforting breakfasts set the tone for a wonderful day. We were lucky to have a two-bedrooms appartement. The whole appartement is spacious and clean. Vatho and Lefteris are really helpful and offered us many good advices. They warmly welcomed us, making us feel right at home.

Lianos was amazing for us. Everything looks brand new and is kept incredibly clean. The pool is great, with a fantastic view to the sea as well. All the furniture is stylish and newl, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are incredibly helpful and nice. We visited with a one and a half year old baby and they were so helpful and understanding with us and the baby. This is a business done right and frankly it's shocking that it's only qualified at 3 stars. Definitely worth more than that. And it's so much better maintained than other 4star hotels in the vicinity. We absolutely recommend it.

Our experience at 18 Grapes was outstanding. The staff was lovely and helpful and warm. The location of the hotel to the beach and local restaurants and shops was perfect. The faciliaties were comfortable and beautiful with many thoughtful touches in the rooms and around the grounds. The hotel is very tasteful, quiet and relaxing. The whole town is just gorgeous and filled with interesting historical and archeological findings. There are also a lot of really great beaches nearby that can be either reached by foot or by the the communal bus - no need for a car really.

This is the 3rd time we have visited Agios Prokopios, but it will be the last. The beautiful beach has been completely taken over by the adjacent restaurants, who charge up to 40 Euros a day for 2 sunbeds PLUS a minimum cover charge for for food or drinks. In some cases, this is an additional 25 Euro, so for a family of 4, that is 130 Euros a day. There is very little space left to put your own towel down, so we had little option but to rent quad bikes so that we could find a beach with no rip-off sunbeds. Naxos used to be our favourite Greek island, but we are done with it now.

I found Agia Anna and Naxos perfect for a week of swimming, reading and some local walks. The sunsets were spectacular and the food amazing. The local beaches: Prokopius and Plaka are the kind where you stay and dip in and out of the sea all day. Agia Anna is delightful with fishing boats dotted along the pier

I stayed at the far end of Plaka Beach away from the crowds, which suited me. It’s a beautiful sandy beach, with hardly any people.You can walk all the way to Naxos Chora along the beach, about 10 kilometres.

Mikri Vigla is a quiet town with a couple bakeries and restaurants. Beautiful sunsets and beaches, but you should have a car / moped to get around. The bus from Naxos Chora is infrequent and drops off at the beach, not the town proper.

Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for...

Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for accomodation and walking distance to a lovely beach if the north wind is not blowing. Only two restaurant options to walk to at night but it has easy access to hill towns and beaches to the south by car. It's out of the hectic vibes of Naxos Town and very quiet at night so a good night sleep is ensured!

We liked the premises and quiet sandy beach. There is free parking on premise and some very good restaurants nearby. Make sure that when you get the sea view room, you ask for the direct and not the side views room.

Quiet beach with three Tavernas withing walking distance...

Quiet beach with three Tavernas withing walking distance plus some smaller food service locations. There is a mini market where you can purchase essentials. It was very windy in June, less so we were told in September. No bus service, we hired a car but if you are prepared to walk up and doen the beach not absolutely essential.

Near Moutsouna on the eastern coast of Naxos, a small house...

Near Moutsouna on the eastern coast of Naxos, a small house for two people nestled in the peaceful countryside. In the morning, the sounds of buzzards echo, and you can admire the flights of peregrine falcons in a deep blue sky. In the evening, the bells of goats and sheep create a bucolic atmosphere. Nearby, there are beautiful, secluded sandy beaches (Psili Amnos) and pebble beaches (Azalas). Matthew and Giannis are extremely kind and helpful hosts, welcoming their guests with genuine courtesy and delicious produce from their small garden. We spent 12 truly special days. About 12 km south of the house, from the beautiful beach of Panermos, you can daily embark for the splendid Koufonissi.

It was a bit to touristy for my opinion.

It was a bit to touristy for my opinion. There was a few roads (next to some big, dark parking lots) that weren’t nice to walk alone at night as a solo female traveller. I would choose some of the less touristy islands.
