The kindest and nicest family run the place which is seriously perfect. Huge pool overlooking the sea, and only a 10-20 min drive from all the best beaches on the island. There are enough cafes and supermarkets around but their cafe has awesome snacks and great drinks. Chilling by the pool daily was awesome. The apartment had everything you need to cook and relax as a family. Great AC, great bathrooms, and peaceful and beautiful location. We loved this place and it made our vacation wonderful. EUXARISTW POLI! NA'STE KALA!!

Stayed for 8 nights with family incl 3 kids aged 7-11. Stayed in the large villa with private pool. Everything was superb: breakfast was our favorite meal each day, cleaners kept the apartment spotless, Anthi, Aleksander and team took care of us at every turn. We highly recommend staying here!

The host and chef were very accommodating. The attention to detail from the hotel’s decor (dreamy) to the meals were amazing. The ocean views from the hotel were better than the posted photos. The location iis on the most beautiful beach (least windy beach). Crystal clear water, white sand., and short a walk to rented umbrellas and lounge chairs. My husband and I lost a day of our reservations due to the high winds (led to cancellation of our ferry). The host/owner refunded the lost day without us even asking. We were so pleased and touched.

This quiet hotel was a nice space to come home to after a long day at the beach. The location is great--just one block from the water and an easy drive (or 10/15 min walk) to several excellent restaurants. There was plenty of parking and outdoor space to hang out, rinse the sand off, and dry clothes. The room itself was clean and a good size for two people, with a full-sized fridge and a decent amount of kitchen equipment (though we didn't cook). We enjoyed slow breakfasts in the room and a cool beer on our private patio during our stay.

Price for value was very good. Pool was quite big with nice sunbeds around, room was very comfortable and nicely furnished, walking distance to a nice sand beach, very friendly staff and nice, covered outdoor area for the breakfast with a few good homemade products. We would recommend renting a car to get to Naxos town and the nicest beaches on the island. Breakfast is not huge but definitely enough and good for the price.

The property was so nice! We weren't sure about staying in Kastraki, but we loved being outside of the big city, but close enough for a quick drive. Kastraki had everything we wanted: great dining options, a super market, bakery, amazing beaches, and also Manolis Studios. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, they were cleaned daily, and the staff was extremely friendly. The pool was large and clean, and so much fun for the kids.

We liked the premises and quiet sandy beach. There is free parking on premise and some very good restaurants nearby. Make sure that when you get the sea view room, you ask for the direct and not the side views room.

You will notice immediately when you start to drive down the...

You will notice immediately when you start to drive down the coast and get to thr area of Mikri Vigla that many of the roads have not all of them are unpaved. Leaving this to see definitely more deserted or undiscovered. This being the case, the villa is remote They say there was a three-minute walk to the beach, but honestly, we had to use the car all the time. So the location is both a blessing and kind of a disability - 1+ was we worked our way back for dinner most nights and found what people might call inexpensive taverna’s Kastraki area that were a gem

I don't want to talk up Kastraki too much because if to many...

I don't want to talk up Kastraki too much because if to many people are drawn to it it will become overcrowded, like Agia Anna and Plaka have become. We thoroughly enjoyed the spaciousness on the beach, the lack of crowds, and the better-than-decent restaurants within a few hundred meters.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had the two room apartment. Staff were efficient and helpful. Wifi was weak we could not do our work. Hotel was clean and rooms were serviced daily. Breakfast was good. Location was far from the hubs.

Kastraki is the most windy beach of Naxos : it is excellent...

Kastraki is the most windy beach of Naxos : it is excellent for kite or windsurfing but not for resting on the beach to read. Surroundings are quite with some restaurants and small supermarkets. You need a car if you stay at Kastriki.

When I arrived on the terrace was an old bucket with old cleaning water, broom sticks all over the place and beneath at the bottom.od the stairs it was like a trash. There was an unpleasant odeur when I arrived. Also the fridge was washed with old cleansing water, as it was really stinking. No bathroom towels, no kitchen basics like a pan or hardly cutlery. I had to request all a couple of times. Then I was requested to leave the room unthough I had made a reservation for a longer time; all together around 3 weeks!! I should suppose that I'm the best guest with such a long reservation, but I felt treated in the cleaningness and availability of the basics in the room like the worst! Only Maria tried her best to handle this chaos well, but it was not her fault, she was just left with the results of a lack of love of service and cleaningness and had to handle all my complaints at the desk. But it's not her fault. It felt like because it's the cheapest accommodation they can do whatever they like. But it's not a 20 euro accommodation but 50-70. For this price you expect that the host does his basics, but he didn't. It feels like a money machine. There's just the energy of they just don't care. And you have to ask for everything to get solved. Yes the view is spectacular, but the hospitality and having the feeling that people are trying to to their best is absent..also around the villas there was mess everywhere. Because I was the first guest? This can't be. Worst customer care ever (not because of Maria that does the reception, as she has to handle this mess) but because how the property and me as a guest was received. Literally with a garbage mess in front of my studio and terrace. It took two days before they came to clean in

This was one of the best stays we had lately. Clean, spacious, with 2 bedrooms and a living room and kitchen very well equipped, 2 terraces where you can have your breakfast looking at the sea. In 2 weeks of holiday, they changed almost every day the towels and the bedsheets! The apartment is 5 minutes walking from one of the best beaches in the world: Kastraki Beach! Nearby you can find nice tavernas and a good bakery. Definitely going to come back!

We loved everything about Kastraki Dunes Naxos; - the location - white sandy beach - Maldives-like clear sea - the room - and most importantly, the unforgettable hospitality of Stella (and her husband Kostas, who recommended us very nice places to visit and dine in Naxos) We would have extended our stay if we didn’t have to leave. Nevertheless, we will definitely come back to stay at Kastraki Dunes Naxos and to see Stella & Kostas.
