Really loved it here! Was welcomed by the owner who was so kind! Showed us round his garden to see all his fruits growing! Room was modern, spacious, very clean!!! Aircon worked a treat. Very close to the airport which was exactly what we needed! Would 100% recommend!

We were early in the season so not many hotels in the area were open. By the time we arrived at Amphora, it was almost 9pm. Since dinner was included, the chef accommodated our late arrival and prepared a feast for us: spinach and tomato salad, yogurt dip, chicken with eggplant, beef in a creamy sauce, rice with orzo, bread, chocolate mouse and chocolate cake, watermelon slices and Asian pear slices. And breakfast the next morning was also plentiful. The room was comfortable and spacious. Wonderful stay!

Let me say at the beginning what I will say at the end; IT WAS THE MOST PEACEFUL, THE MOST SATISFACTORY AND QUIETEST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED (I traveled more than 45 countries and territories in the world meaning many times more cities and I am saying it was the most pleasant one among the hotels I have ever stayed)! An elderly couple runs the hotel, and they are trying heartily to do their best to comfort their guests. Our child usually does not like to have breakfast, we hardly make him eat something in the mornings; despite this, they cooked whatever they could for him to eat. We appreciated for their effort.

Great place, multicultural (Greek-Turkish) and no mass tourism in June, partly due to the fact that the island does not have any major monuments or world-class sights. Meals in the many restaurants are of excellent quality.

Lesvos is very beautiful island.And Mytilini very beautiful city.Very big with hidden amazing places .is very worthy to discover all around. The people are very friendly and the food is very delicious.
The only thing I didn't like it was the street abandoned animals cats and dogs .this is very pity situation and also I didn't like the garbage close to the beach .and all around wherever you go you can see garbage .please do something about it.

It is out of season, much is closed and also under renovation. I have been a number of times however, during season there is a lot to see and visit. I would also recommend hiring a car to really get out and about.
