IndonesiaI had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were warm and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities were well maintained. The room was spacious and clean, with a super comfortable bed and even a smart TV where I could easily watch Netflix and other apps. Overall, a great experience and I would happily stay here again.

United StatesI became very dehydrated after a tour....first an employee walked with me to the little store that was in their parking lot. When the store did not have what I needed, another employee took me to local pharmacy AND drove me across the street to airport.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit, making me feel at home. The location is perfect—close to the airport and within easy reach of the harbor and local restaurants. It’s a quiet place where you can truly relax after a day of exploring Labuan Bajo. The facilities exceeded my expectations, and the value for money is excellent. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

AustraliaPieter and his family are lovely. Pieter bends over backwards to help with whatever he can. Booking a Komodo trip, organising a hire bike, local tours, and in my case helping me retrieve my broken down motorcycle and looking after it while I went away to get parts and sort my Visa. Since February, I have stayed probably 15 nights over 4 visits. For the price, it is such good value. The only downside is no hot water, but I'm sure that will change soon.
Whilst it is only a couple of hundred metres from the airport, a transfer can be organised. There is a little shop accros the road, and great food at the bottom of the street. If your too lazy to go out, Pieter can even sort out food for you. Lasty if you're a plane need, the view over the airport is amazing. 🙂

Crown Plaza has amazing standard. they are really professional and the quality of the service is top. good bathroom and great shower. The concierge is great and they can drive you everywhere so very practical. you can also rent some scooter for a pretty cheap price.

We thought Labuan bajo was a really interesting town but...
We thought Labuan bajo was a really interesting town but quite diving oriented. We enjoyed walking in the back streets to the harbour and locals were so friendly to us. We did not go diving but went to a local beach (would not recommend). People were coming out of the water with large spikes in their feet which looked very painful - we ended up just returning home.

Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The location was perfect, if your objective is to get away from the crowds. The emphasis is very much “enjoy the incredible nature around you”. Although there is WiFi and it was mostly fast and mostly reliable. The jewel of this resort is the good quality house reef, accessible from the jetty. There are currents, but there are usually staff available to provide a short RIB “lift” up current, for a gentle drift home. Hiking around the island is also possible, with sensible footwear and water. It is hot and the hills are steep. The basics are all good. Room - comfy bed, air con working, hot water, clean. Food - tasty and plentiful. There is a bar with alcohol at European prices.

Labuan Bajo itself doesn't offer much unless you wanna spend...
Labuan Bajo itself doesn't offer much unless you wanna spend hours on a motorbike or car to explore the inner island. And it was the most expensive part of our trip. Everything there is way pricier than Bali or Gili Air. The Komodo park is quite sad because you can clearly see the Komodo dragon is sedate for the guests. Yes, it's cool the fact you can see it from so close, but honestly I don't think it's so worth it.
Our favourite parts were the pink beach and padar island, those are stunning!!! Unfortunately mass tourism is ruining the experience, but it's still worth it.

It's a fairly chilled little port town, mostly, as it was for us, a jumping off point for dive and snorkelling trips out into the Komodo Islands area: there are loads of dive or snorkelling excursions or liveabord options available. We did a five-day trip on trhe Wunderpus, which was absolutely fabulous in every respect - boat, staff, range of snorkelling locations and sea creatures seen (mantas and other rays, turtles, dolphins, sharks, myriad types of fish and corals). LB itself has good range of eateries, many of which offer great spots to watch the sunset; we liked Green Cherry and De Waroeng very much.

This was a stunning / unique / beautiful experience. To stay in a bamboo bungalow is something extraordinary! It is a short 3 minute drive from the LBJ airport, and they have free shuttle service for pickup and drop off. The staff is incredibly friendly and very kind / accommodating. They are quick to respond and assist you with any needs. The food from the restaurant was very good. The views from your bungalow and the pool are incredible. It is a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend!

There's a shuttle from the airport to hotel which is super convenient! The food at the hotel restaurant is so good and affordable & pair it with the view, insane!!! my room was so spacious and the heater works totally fine. It's a bit far from the centre but LBJ is small, rent a scooter and you will be in the centre in 6 mins. The sunset from my balcony remained one of the best memories I ever had.

Hotel is nicely appointed with hot water, AC, decent breakfast, and comfortable room. Location is central and walkable to center.
Only downside is poor sound proofing, and situated close to mosque (realistically, anywhere in central LBJ is not immune from the excessively loud morning prayers). Bring earplugs.
Tap water is sweet because tap water at Komodo Suites is brackish.

This place is absolutely incredible. I almost don't want to write a review because it's so magical that I want to keep it a secret. This was one of the best views we had in all of LBJ. The staff made it easy to rent a scooter from here and the ride into town was less that 10 mins. AMAZING! The small pool is perfect for chilling and I love the two story bungalows. Just incredible! One of my favorite places in all of Indonesia.
