We had gone to Surat for shopping.
We had gone to Surat for shopping. Lalgate area was good as everything you need from clothes to sarees to Jewellery for women and men was available there and at a reasonable price.
The shop keepers were also patient kind and helpful serving us with water and tea all the time in all the shops.

Possibly the timing of the visit was unfortunate. Due to the festive season, roads were absolutely blocked, and difficult to negotiate, despite the arrangements by the police to regulate human and vehicular traffic.

Loved the food and the people.
Loved the food and the people. Shopping is light on the pocket. Must visit is Surat castle Dutch Cemetry, and Dumas Beach. You should not skip the Food and shopping here. It's amazing!!!! Not to mention!!!! It's very very very clean. A very apt space for business!!!! I loved everything about this place
