We enjoyed our stay at this century old heritage palace property. It is excellent worth for money. The food was excellent, served in the classical royal dining area. The entire staff was courteous and welcoming. The complimentary tour of the palace helped to learn its history. We were glad to take our pictures in this palace surrounding and also with the huge portraits of the erstwhile rulers. It was revealing to know that this palace was made modest because Maharaja Takhtasinghji diverted funds for this palace to construction of a local hospital as was the need of the hour. The last Maharaja Krishnakumar Singhji was the first ruler to handover his Kingdom to Gandhiji to shape a united India after independence in 1947.

It a nice place to visit but does not have many tourist attraction. It mostly serves as corporate hub kind of place. Rickshaws are available so even as a solo who doesn't know how to drive it is fairly easy to go around and all types of apps whether transport, food delivery or blinkit etc everything is available and functional so yeah great place to be

We had gone to Surat for shopping. Lalgate area was good as everything you need from clothes to sarees to Jewellery for women and men was available there and at a reasonable price. The shop keepers were also patient kind and helpful serving us with water and tea all the time in all the shops.

Great place to visit in Gujarat The true cultural capital of Gujarat Pavagadh, zand Hanuman. Devgarh Baria, Ghoghamba, Bodeli, Jambugoda, Kuber Bhandari. Chanod, etc. So many good places to visit.

One goes to Somnath primarily to seek Lord Shiva's blessings, visiting the Somnath Temple. The Temple management and organisation is excellent and makes pilgrims missions easy despite the massive rush. Just being able to seek Lord Shiva darshan and blessings is supreme joy, which will always justify a trip to Somnath. There are other significant temples as well. Also, a Triveni Sangam at the confluence of three rivers, a most auspicious site by Sanaatani sentiment and tradition.

Amicable nature of the owner and friendly services. We found Garudeshwar not too far from Rail-Bus stations. This location has many number for Home-Stay. The host will guide properly where to eat and will give you services for to & fro services in his own vehicle ! You can visit places without any worry of your belongings at stay place. The host answers your phone calls instantly and would guide properly for other expected services. I would rate this Home-Stay 4 Star out of 5 *.

We were there for a couple of weeks to get some dental work...

We were there for a couple of weeks to get some dental work done, so longer than we would normally stay. The Ghandi museum is interesting, but apart from that there is was not too much of interest, except if the cricket is on! Some good shopping, and easy to get around, as it is a smaller city. It is a good stopover on the way to Gir National park area, but probably 1-2 nights would be sufficient. There is a fabulous non-veg restaurant Hot and More, near the Ghandi museum.

Jambughoda is a great place to visit - except that Bhanu the Fern Resort & Spa was a huge disappointment and fell short of expectations. If staffing was an issue, you should NOT have accepted all the guests and then subject them to shoddy treatment. Management should have offered a voluntary discount or cash back to the guests. There are historical landmarks, natural beauty attractions, religious places of interest that can be explored to one's heart's content.
