Very impressed by the size of our room, in which they had set up a cot in for our baby. Used to hotel rooms being very small but this was plenty of space. It also had a big rug and was relatively baby proof. Perfect for our 9 months old, there was very little she could hurt herself on. Breakfast was really good. Didn’t stay long enough to use the pool.

Located near the airport, within walking distance. The road is mostly paved, but there is a portion of dirt road which is not lit at night, but it’s ok. Instructions for checkin were very easy to understand and well given. Giovanni was very friendly and helped us at checkout with our car rental.

We loved the view and how homely the apartment felt - a great base for us as a family to explore the north east of Sardinia. It was close to the airport and car hire, with main roads in and out of Olbia very easy to access. We were able to shop at euro spin and travel to lots of beaches. The apartment is close to the marina for boat trips out snorkeling and seeing dolphins and A day trip up to aqua dream water park with the kids was also a great day out.

We were here for only one night before flying home early next day. The place is advertised, clean and has newer amenities. The Wi-fi was good & fast and there was a parking spot reserved for guests right near the apartment. Parking is secure and off-street. We elected to drop our rental car, after check in, the night before our flight and walk back from airport as we had an early departure. We did not meet the host and our communication was through WhatsApp. Upon arrival you are required to call the host, on WhatsApp if you don't have a european phone plan, to receive the lockbox code. So know before you go if you are not familiar with this communication App. We had no problem. When you're preparing for a flight next day, contactless entry is great as we were exploring the beautiful area on our last day of travel and didn't have an exact time for arrival. Be aware the walk to airport will take at least 20-25 minutes with carry-on roller bags, and we walk pretty fast. The walk has the ability to be on sidewalks much of the way.

Loved the town, plenty of amenities, you can pay pretty much everything with your phone (not like many other cities in europe still stuck with coins or cash) A lot of great beaches nearby, with parking, showers, restrooms, and other amenities. my favorites were: Spiaggia di Cala Sabina, Spiaggia di Rena Bianca, Spiaggia La Cinta A private boat tour from Palau was worth it as well! Never managed to reserve for Cala Brandinchi or Spiaggia di Lu Impostu, it was sold out in minutes.

Murta Maria area has kinda wild beaches, which (most of them) are not offering any service, no beach bars or restaurants. usually visited by locals and the access to the beaches is usually through dirt road (last killometer).

the beach and sea fantastic, it is very easy to reach from Olbia international airport. you may have a daily trip to other beaches and villages.. there are good pizza restaurants around Porto Istana.. Do not to forget bring mosquito sprays, it is a problem all over the island..

Porto San Paolo is a jumping point for Tavolara island. We visited in low season (end of May) so the town was still sleepy and some business were still closed, but i am sure in the high season it becomes more lively.

Olbia is a busy port city.

Olbia is a busy port city. There are not many obvious attractions for the tourist in the city itself but there are plenty of restaurants and a good choice of places to stay. Olbia has an international airport and is a good base for tourism in northern Sardinia. When cruise ships are in the harbour, local facilities are stretched and it is nearly impossible to find a taxi.

Sorry we couldn’t stay any longer at Villa AGOSTINA , we were treated very well, we were listened too, very professional laid back lovely staff and vibe, beautiful scenery amongst a vineyard, sunsets galore, the food was outstanding, we shall come back.. it’s a calm zen place not a party BnB a recharge… loved it, Sabrina, Michaela and Chef owner Francesco and family have something special, very tasteful.. Francesco arrived at 5.30 for our breakfast before the plane.. omelette .. so nice! And the cake.. we shall be back ❤️ great location for an early flight next morning

Small but lively little town, with shops, markets, bars and restaurants. Nice couple of small beaches and small harbour with plenty of nautical activities available. Porto San Paolo is very well located from Olbia, which is a bigger town with plenty of activities, shops, etc as well as the airport. There is really good public transport that allows you to reach a good number of paradisiac beaches in a relative short time.

1.Sardinia is one of the world's few Blue Zones! 2.Till Delta started its thrice weekly roundtrip nonstop from JFK to Olbia, getting to Sardinia was complicated by transit stops. It is now easier to visit Sardinia from North America. 3.The local people.. highly educated (most teenagers and young people speak English as also other European languages) and healthy are very welcoming to tourists and visitors. 4.The local bus service is inexpensive and excellent..very reliable. For 10 Euros one acn buy 12 bus tickets good for 3 hours once validated on the bus. Purchasing a ticket on the bus is more expensaive Euro 1.50 per ticket versus under Euro 1 if Purchaed at any TABBACHI (TABACCO STORE) in advance. 5.The beaches are amongst the best in the world and not overly developed as yet with shops and restaurants and hustlers. 6. Good restaurants with good food at all price levels. 7. Even though our May visit was pre season..the weather was pleasant, the picturesque cobbled stone streets in the Olbia cith center were crowded with very friendly folk mostly European and locals out for an evening. During summer- Mid June - mid Sep there are musical evenings free in differents areas of the squares. 8. Any Tourist seeking an water associated vacation with good food, easy local transportation and friendly locals.. Olbia is the place to visit.It is filled with local charm and a very clear air to braethe in. Olbia is also surrounded by picturesque Hilly countryside..that we did not explore this visit.. but certainly strongly beckons us for a return visit..soon!!!

Murta Maria is a very small town but the restaurants we...

Murta Maria is a very small town but the restaurants we visited there were all very good. Definitely need a car to travel around. Had a lovely meal at Ristorante della nonna Delicious food and great service especially from Marco Would recommend.
