Staff were completely supportive of our requests and went beyond their roles to ensure we had a holiday that far exceeded our expectations. They were friendly, respectful and followed up on anything we suggested we might need or want. Karthik anticipated our needs as well and personally followed up on communications when we didn't respond. We feel we have been very fortunate to have stayed at BlueWorld. As well, the breakfast and dinners were outstanding. The meals were always wonderful, reflecting local cuisine which we had requested. The rooms and grounds were maintained to a very high standard standard and the garden ambience made it all such a friendly beautiful atmosphere. The Dive Centre was the bonus of our stay, with trips organised that met our dive abilities. We will be recommending BlueWorld to all our friends and family.

We loved our stay at Athirige, it was exceptional. The staff were kind, very helpful and gave us many information about Dharavandhoo. The breakfast and the food were also delicious. Should we visit Dharavandhoo again, Athirige will definitely be our first choice.

Lovely accommodation in Dharavandhoo Island - it exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and well airconditioned. Breakfast was yummy and varied. Staff was excellent - great communication! Wi-Fi worked well. Good location - easy walk to the restaurants and the Bikini Beach, as well as other beaches. Zero complaints, all compliments, and I would stay here again for sure when I come back!

Dharavandhoo is a local island. So you should know that it is for you if you’re searching for some authentic trip without alcohol. That was ok for me and my wife. We wanted to have a rest on the beach, see some fishes, have tasty food and just to stay with comfort. What we have received? - Everything we was waiting for + - True smiles from every single person who work here. It is so wonderful that all staff carries about you, your problems, your needs. They really wanted us to have the best experience we ever had. Even it’s hard to write every single thing why I’m thankful to them because here is not allowed to write so many symbols. Samesh, thank you so much for all of this. Hope you’ll grow to a big hotel director and will give your kindness to as many people as you can! This island is perfect for observing marine life, there all sorts of colourful tropical fishes, different kinds of rays, reef sharks, sea turtles and dolphins that come close to the shore and fool around, jumping in the air! All for free, right at your hotel's beach. The sunsets are also very beautiful, the island is quiet, there aren't too many people, and it's within a speed boat trip from the capital (so you don't necessarily have to go by plane, which is more expensive). But most importantly, there is a UNESCO biosphere reserve nearby, where you can see dozens of manta rays and even a whale shark, if you're lucky!

The Island is tiny but well kept we often saw the local ladies tidying leaves. 500m x 700m very easy to look around in an hour or so. It is stunning and the local reef full of fish, at times it was like swimming in an aquarium. We saw a turtle and small black tipped shark off the reef .

We are a same-sex couple that travelled there for our honeymoon .This marvelous property sits on a beautiful island surrounded by an amazing reef. I saw sharks rays and turtles a few meters into the see from our cabin.. The food is great and their all inclusive premium includes activities and a session at the spa (or diving if you are certified). I would go back in heartbeat. The staff is sooo nice they definitely made our stay unforgettable, thanks to Shihus that made sure we were up to day during our stay and tended to our needs, Rai an Swarna and all the staff at booli bar and to Shirsti and Aahil and all the staff at the Raabondhi restaurant

the island and the people are the best!

the island and the people are the best! the dreamiest tropical location and the kindest people and the affordability on top! what more could you ask for. not to mention the various activities they would plan to fill up your days for so cheap! compared to resorts ofcourse. we went on a picnic to neighbouring pvt island and took a beach dinner at the sandbank. we travel a lot and kendhoo for sure has a sepcial place in our hearts.

It is a small island that is Muslim and so you will need to dress respectfully when not in hotel beach area. There are a couple of beaches next to each other classed as bikini beaches. The other beaches clearly state they are Muslim beaches. A great place to go for diving and snorkelling trips. There are a variety of places to eat out if you wish. Most people stayed between 3 and 7 days.

I absolutely would return!

I absolutely would return! After the fact I was told this was a Russian resort but we interacted with a variety of guests during our visit. Our neighbors were guests 20 years ago and returned with two children. They were having an absolute ball. I loved the swim up bar at the pool - and the fact it was at the opposite end (along with a divider) from the children's area. Super attentive and friendly staff, great meals, I didn't tire of the options at the buffet. The a la carte restaurant was lovely too. We did the all inclusive and it was definitely worth it. Great chill vibe and overall a fun place to relax and play.

This is a small local island. It’s quiet and simple.

This is a small local island. It’s quiet and simple. The people are friendly. The beach and the sea is beautiful. There are a few restaurants on the island. We have limited choice on food. We recommend the restaurant called Moonshell as it provides more international food and the price is reasonable. There is another cafe near the pier where we can eat local Maldivian food. The cafe is popular among locals. The island is very close to the Manta point called Hanifaru Bay. We recommend this manta excursion as this is a wonderful once in a lifetime experience. It is convenient to bring cash and exchange some Maldivian money to spend and pay for the meals.
