This hotel truly exceeded our expectations. For its price, it is absolutely worth it, we definitely had a wonderful stay. The private beach was clean, the staff were the kindest and most helpful people we have met, they arranged everything we wanted and even beyond what they offered. The restaurant had some of the most delicious food I have ever had. The rooms were spacious and cleaned every day. The pool offered cold water, which was very much appreciated during hot afternoons. And the view from the hotel lobby and from our terrace... I will miss it dearly every day. We will be happy to come back next time we visit the Maldives.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The hotel is brand new, with spacious rooms that are beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Everything feels fresh and thoughtfully arranged. It is very quiet and cozy — perfect for families, couples, and even solo adventurers looking for a peaceful getaway. The food is simply fantastic. Special thanks to the chef, who carefully considered all of my dietary requirements and exceeded my expectations. Every meal was delicious and prepared with great attention to detail. The staff truly made the experience exceptional. They are amazingly kind, calm, and gentle people who take care of their guests as if they were family. Their warmth and hospitality create such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect — just 20 seconds from the beach! The hotel also provides beach towels and a spacious fancy beach bag, bicycles for guests, making it easy and fun to explore the entire island in about 10 minutes. It was a truly wonderful stay, and I am extremely satisfied. I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and genuine hospitality.

And here we are at our second hotel hopping adventure! We chose to stay at this hotel not only because of how beautiful it looks, but also because of the wonderful reviews we read — and yes, they were absolutely true! Count me in as one of the happy guests who truly experienced their excellent service and cleanliness. From the moment we checked in, everything went smoothly. Special thanks to Mr. Riyaz for warmly welcoming us and sharing helpful information about the island and nearby spots. The room smelled fresh and was spotless! What impressed us most was how consistent the housekeeping team was — keeping our room clean every day and attending to our small requests with care. Their breakfast and dinner service was also excellent. I celebrated my birthday here, and they made it truly special — from a beautiful seafood dinner setup by the beach, to a homemade cake, room decorations, and even a surprise beachside dance moment where I felt like I owned the whole island! It’s amazing how attentive they were, even to guests’ birthdates. The hotel staff went above and beyond our expectations. We became friends with David Moorthi, and Sanjeewan, who always made sure we were safe and comfortable, especially at the beachside, until the moment we checked out. We also booked our excursions with them — the Manta Ray and Whale Shark tours — and on our first day, we met the amazing Mr. Pocky, known as the “Manta Man” and one of the owners of Chak’z 1964. Once you book, the team keeps you updated on when you’ll head out for the search. At first, Mr. Pocky seemed quiet and mysterious, but he truly lived up to his words: “If you dive with me, you are safe.” The moment I jumped into the ocean, he never left my side — even held my hand throught the time — and made sure other divers’ flippers didn’t hit me. My best friend’s guide also made sure she was safe at all times.

Dharavandhoo is a local island. So you should know that it is for you if you’re searching for some authentic trip without alcohol. That was ok for me and my wife. We wanted to have a rest on the beach, see some fishes, have tasty food and just to stay with comfort. What we have received? - Everything we was waiting for + - True smiles from every single person who work here. It is so wonderful that all staff carries about you, your problems, your needs. They really wanted us to have the best experience we ever had. Even it’s hard to write every single thing why I’m thankful to them because here is not allowed to write so many symbols. Samesh, thank you so much for all of this. Hope you’ll grow to a big hotel director and will give your kindness to as many people as you can! An excellent base in Baa atoll near Hanifaru Bay for manta and whale shark sightings. Also for snorkelling and diving. Island perimeter is 3km, a nice little bonus for runners. There are a few small mini-marts and a few restaurants and cafes. Being a local island, prices for eating out and trips are reasonable. The island school is built around a massive banyan tree. The sharks and stingrays, when they come in each day to feed, are worth seeing at the fish market by the harbour.

This island is perfect for observing marine life, there all sorts of colourful tropical fishes, different kinds of rays, reef sharks, sea turtles and dolphins that come close to the shore and fool around, jumping in the air! All for free, right at your hotel's beach. The sunsets are also very beautiful, the island is quiet, there aren't too many people, and it's within a speed boat trip from the capital (so you don't necessarily have to go by plane, which is more expensive). But most importantly, there is a UNESCO biosphere reserve nearby, where you can see dozens of manta rays and even a whale shark, if you're lucky!

It is a small island that is Muslim and so you will need to dress respectfully when not in hotel beach area. There are a couple of beaches next to each other classed as bikini beaches. The other beaches clearly state they are Muslim beaches. A great place to go for diving and snorkelling trips. There are a variety of places to eat out if you wish. Most people stayed between 3 and 7 days.

The very place you can rest from the crowded fuss. minimum transport, lack of town noises, friendly islander. not that hot as in Malé due to the absence of the asphalt. the streets full of flowers, flying foxes flying a short distance over your head. I dreamt such a place whole my life

Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.
