Great room and awesome bed, good bathroom and shower pressure. Really friendly and helpful staff, they were really accommodating, for example, we were able to get breakfast early when we had trips booked. Good breakfast also. Close to bikini beach, restaurants and shops.

We liked everything about our stay at the Triton. Check in was very welcoming and easy, staff was great and the servers at the restaurant were excellent. We were there on Valentines Day and they had an extra special dinner on the beach decorated in red and white with live music.

- location is great only 4-5min walk from pier, activity area, and restaurant zone. it’s 2 beaches in front of the hotel: bikini beach and kaani beach(unknown beach name) - it’s dancing party on the kaani beach on Saturday night for 2hrs - kaani also provide many tours for exploring the ocean with the very very professional free drivers who helped us taking great photos and vdo without additional cost. - front office staff also help us for tour recommendations - all staff are super friendly!!!

Maafushi is where you can do excursions and adventure at a very reasonable price! The hotels here are also cheap compared to the island resorts. It's a quiet place. Massive snorkeling area and a good sunset spot.

Very laid back place with good water sports options. The prices are unreasonably high for no reason. Souvenir shops are rip off with most of the items imported from China or Thailand. Day trip to vaavu atoll is amazing from here. Food options for vegetarians is very very less and super costly

Maafushi Island did not meet our expectations at all.

Maafushi Island did not meet our expectations at all. It’s no longer the budget-friendly destination it used to be, and the prices don’t really justify the experience. Compared to other local islands in the Maldives, it lacks that true tropical feel—crowded, busy, and not as clean or relaxing as we had hoped. The atmosphere felt quite commercialized, and ongoing construction in some areas didn’t help. Overall, it didn’t deliver the peaceful island escape we were looking for, and we would consider other islands instead next time.

We went for 10 days as a group of 6 people, which was fantastic. We loved the available trips and the local beach had so much sea life, we saw eels, stingrays, pufferfish, and all kinds of colorful fish. The food selection is good, the island is small so you can easily walk everywhere, and everything is very affordable.

Perfect island to explore Maldives without ruining the budget - you stay in the hotel and buy daily trips or water experiences directly from the locals. It is a local island so pay attention to dressing modestly, but people are super nice. From interesting things, the island holds the biggest jail in the entire country :) It is extremely easy to travel there - representatives of the hotel are "catching you" at the airport and redirecting to the right speed boat. Most of the restaurants are worth recommendation, we really liked the Fish Island due to great ratio of value for money but you can easily find both much cheaper and also fancy places.

The island itself leaves a very unfavorable impression. There is virtually no decent food, no proper cafés, and no good shops. The dishes listed on menus do not correspond to what is actually served — for example, a “Caesar salad” has nothing in common with the original dish, and this applies to almost all food on the island. The food is consistently poor and of very low quality. The island is also heavily polluted: the coastline is covered with garbage, which appears to be left uncollected. This attitude toward the environment and the place itself is deeply discouraging. In conclusion, I would not return here a second time and cannot recommend either this property or the island as a destination

We paid a bit extra for sea view and wow it was worth it. It was breathtaking to say the least! We've stayed on 3 islands in the Maldives&this hotel is by far the best. The breakfast selection was great, the room was comfortable and the staff were amazing. We will definitely be returning.

Greeted by the shuttle bus at the Maafushi port and taken to the hotel. Good location, easy to find and plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. Breakfast was an interesting selection of food.
