Property location is amazing near to local shops and the great mosque and also to artificial beach. It was so good to walk around at night and see local people. Staff were so helpful and friendly and they made our stay even better. They arranged a dolphin cruise with really good price for us. They also were so organized and just on time to pick us up from airport and also when they dropped us off. Thanks for making our day unforgettable.

Very nice clean place with friendly and accommodating staff. Location is good as far as airport proximity. I honestly wouldn’t stay long in Male regardless of what hotel you’re in due to the fact there not much to do imo. Good stopping point for a night or two until you go to your actual vacation destination.

We recently stayed at the Amber Beach Hotel and had a truly wonderful experience, largely thanks to the incredible staff who go above and beyond for their guests. A huge thank you to Mr. Ajun, one of the managers, who gave us a warm reception. He was incredibly helpful and polite, handling all our requests and logistics seamlessly. He even went out of his way to decorate our room, which made us feel so incredibly special! To add to that, the views from our room were absolutely marvelous. Wherever we travel, I am a big fan of breakfast, and Amber Beach exceeded my expectations. It was always a highlight, especially thanks to Ibrahim, a key manager in the kitchen, who took amazing care of us and made us feel like family every single morning. Our departure was completely stress-free thanks to Ajun again, and Haran, who drove us to the airport and handled our luggage with extreme professionalism. I would also like to thank all the other staff members, namely Anis and Sankar for housekeeping, Sajid at the front desk, Ridoy at breakfast, Rouf the air conditioning technician, and everyone else. The teamwork here is fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel for its top-notch hospitality!

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍 I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.

Male City reminded me of Hong Kong with its congestion, narrow streets, high rise buildings and busyness. The big difference is Male is a strong Muslim city and there is a total absence of alcohol, bars and nightclubs which for many Westerners will make it a very different experience. We were here for only 1 day, but it seemed to be relatively expensive compared to other Asian destinations. Food and accommodation costs seemed comparable with average Western destinations. Male City ids quite small so it is possible to see most of the city within a day simply by walking around. Where we stayed was opposite the Artificial Beach which was inviting enough but as we only saw fully clothed Muslim women swimming, we were reluctant to swim there.

It is a man made island, close to airport and male.

It is a man made island, close to airport and male. Easy public transport. Cafe and restaurants, markets nearby. Nice beaches. Quieter compared to Male. Island in phases of construction. If maintained well, it is a nice place ( plastic bottles, paper-cups thrown everywhere)

Airport help desk doesn't know anything about Himmafushi.

Airport help desk doesn't know anything about Himmafushi. It was tough to manage a boat to Himmafushi from the airport. However, the beach was nice. I enjoyed the scene of small fishes near around the beach.

Great to see where most Maldivians live, but traffic not...

Great to see where most Maldivians live, but traffic not particularly courteous. I wanted to see how locals live (and many guest workers) so enjoyed, but some might not enjoy their idyllic view of "resort Maldives" to be impaired by the fact that real people call this their home. Unlike Mauritius and Seychelles, humans have lived here for 2500 years and there is (somewhat amazingly given the geography) a fascinating culture and history.

Very bad , but I don’t blame the place, I blame booking . Com and will be speaking to many about booking . Com , I expect booking .com to do their investigation before recommending this hotel, for this price, I could have stayed a hotel on the shore of the beach for $75 . I don’t mind paying for a good hotel, but I don’t appreciated to be cheated and mislead.
