The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The location is literally on the shoreline where you have the breakfast served and you can enjoy good food.. the bed was comfortable and the room very clean. Hot shower, a kettle, a fridge and a rack. The AC and the fan on the ceiling also worked very well. Great value for the money. They also helped me to get the ferry boat tickets from and to the airport, and arranged the pickup at no extra cost.

We had a wonderful stay! The villa is located conveniently close to the beach and ferry dropoff location, and the host is so accommodating and helpful. There’s a cute common area for the guest house and the room was lovely and comfortable.

This hotel was a treat and a truly fantastic place to stay. First they met us at the jetty and took our bags to the property (very short walk maybe 2 minutes). Then we were checked in as soon as we arrived. The room is spacious and comes with a small outdoor area. The A/C and fan work very well and the bed is comfy. There is also a small fridge in the room. The shower is very good, spacious and hot water. It makes cleaning up from the beach a breeze. The hosts are top notch and they go out of their way to make your stay great. Breakfast is delicious and served at your choice of time every morning included with the room rate. One day we had to leave before breakfast started for an excursion and did not arrive back to the hotel until 11am. They still cooked us breakfast. Then, on the final day our ferry left at 6:30am well before breakfast normally started but the woke up and served us at 6:00am. They also carried our bags from the hotel back to the jetty. This place is the best!!!!

elevator! It makes everything easier, it’s not very common for guest houses to have elevator. All staff is always helpful even for small requests! The options at the breakfast buffet constantly change.

I had a wonderful stay at VillaBlu Dhiffushi. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, providing everything I needed for a relaxing experience. Dhiffushi is much more than a beautiful island—it is a place that reminds you what really matters in life. We came expecting crystal-clear water and white sandy beaches, and we found exactly that. But what surprised us most was the peaceful atmosphere and the people. The locals are incredibly kind, calm, and genuinely helpful. Every interaction felt sincere, and we always felt welcome. One of the most meaningful parts of our trip was realizing how little we actually needed to be happy. We spent less time on the internet and more time enjoying nature, the ocean, and simple moments. It gave us the chance to slow down, reflect, and appreciate life from a different perspective. In a world where many places have become driven by materialism, Dhiffushi still feels authentic. There is a simplicity and warmth here that is becoming increasingly rare, and we hope it stays that way. If you are looking not only for a tropical paradise but also for peace of mind, genuine human kindness, and a chance to reconnect with yourself, Dhiffushi is the perfect destination. We left with wonderful memories and hope to return one day.

Beautiful local island which is now undergoing alot of...

Beautiful local island which is now undergoing alot of renovations (extension to the islans) so wasnt quite like the photos and videos seen. There was a lot of rubbish and limited beach space for the number of tourists on there during our stay. Lovely to be on a local island and do tours with people actually living on the island.

Dhiffushi is such a beautiful island with a lot of options for having fun! I was always traveling with Nirili company for excursions. They give the best price and the team is very attentive and helpful! I loved the island. With all the excursions you will need a week of staying here or even more.

Great location and the weather was divine.

Great location and the weather was divine. Amazing people in every part of the island. Lovely beach side room and ocean in front of us. Your own beds both on the deck and again on the beach. Option of pool areas which were lovely and could always get a bed at any time of day. Rooms are nice but bathrooms are tired and weathered and in need of update and think toilet should be enclosed as night time visits and bugs outside is not fun. Food was excellent although restrictions on menu for all inclusive often felt silly as other items were same price. Drinks are great and good selection of bars on the island to visit before and after dinner. Spa was fabulous and great massage. Use the app and book up your dinners before you arrive and also lunch if not using the buffet as the time slots can go quickly.

Dhiffushi is a small island (about 1 km long) in the North...

Dhiffushi is a small island (about 1 km long) in the North Male atoll, which you can reach from the airport in Male by speedboat in about 45 minutes. It is a native island, which means you have to dress appropiately when walking through the village. There are several bikini beaches on the island's east side, but topless is prohibited. Personally, I like the island very much, because it is small, and most of the hotels (which one exception - someone had the not so good idea to build a high-rise) are also small and cozy. The view of the sea with all its different colors is absolutely breathtaking.

We LOVED Dhiffushi!

We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!
