Hosts were warm, friendly and informative without being intrusive. Views from our verandah great. Unit was spotless and kitchen was well appointed with cooking equipment, picnic basket and full size fridge. Had our own BBQ which we enjoyed. It had everything we needed for a lovely holiday without unnecessary luxury items which is in keeping with Norfolk Island itself and the need to conserve resources such as water and electricity.

Super nice apartment! Everything you needed was there: kitchen supplies, good Internet, laundry, comfortable bed, good hot water. At night it’s absolutely dead quiet! Included with the accommodation was a free half-day tour of the island, which was really well done! You’re in walking distance to a decent grocery store, cafes, and restaurants. Since I only had a small rucksack, I could easily walk to/from the airport. Glad I came and next time I’ll certainly book a longer stay!

All the shops were great to look at.

All the shops were great to look at. We had meals at Salty Bowls club and at Fish shop. All excellent. Did a few tours went to convicts settlement and over bloody bridge. Went to Captain Cooks lookout. We did so much more. A beautiful island to explore. Will go back one day .

People were friendly.

People were friendly. It's cheaper to eat out than buy groceries there. Baunti Tours were amazing and kept us up to date on activities. Definitely get your hire car delivered to Coast accommodation because they include a tour of the island. This set up our week ahead!! The best thing about the fish fry was meeting lovely people that we kept running into on the island. Although if the weather is bad they hold it in the hall and it is hard to hear each other. Wouldn't spend the money on a fish fry unless it's an outdoors experience. Definitely hire your car through Car Beat Et! Cheapest and kindest people ever. The owner was so lovely and down to earth!!!!!! If I went to Burnt Pine again I would get in touch with locals and see if they need me to bring some groceries over for them in my suitcase. The place is brimming with history. BEST thing we did was swim in Emily Bay. It's by far my favourite place that I've ever swam.

The locals were so friendly and helpful.

The locals were so friendly and helpful. Whilst the island is small, I recommend a car to get around and see all the amazing locations. Be sure to visit Captain Cook Memorial, Cyclorama and do a tour of Kingston Heritage area. Experiencing the Fish Fry was also fantastic.
