We loved Villa Baleia! Amazing location very close to the beach, in a quiet neighborhood. Mina was a lovely host and the caretakers who lived next door were also kind and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable, living space was spacious, everything felt very clean and fresh (not at all damp/humid)!

The Gumamela is a gorgeous home situated in the town within 3 mins of Pacifico beach! The backdrop of the town offers beautiful views of the forest and trees. Which you don’t typically get when you are staying at the beachfront hotels. Our host Sheng was definitely what made our stay 10/10. Extremely responsive, sooo kind. She helped us set up our motorbikes, airport rides, and surfing so easily. Would come back again to any place Sheng is hosting!!! Thank you ☺️

The hostel is located in a super quiet area, yet everything is within walking distance. The rooms are huge and each one even had two bathrooms. There was also an additional bathroom outside, which was really convenient. The kitchen and common area are on the second floor and completely open, incredibly spacious and beautifully designed. There were so many spots to relax, hang out or even do some exercise. The kitchen was so big that an entire football team could cook there without getting in each other’s way. Everything was done with so much care and attention to detail. It was spotless and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. The owner was always up for a friendly chat and had great recommendations for absolutely everything. I would come back anytime!
