Location was what I was looking for. Room was great. Staff were good. Not overtly friendly like most smaller hotels but good. I wish I had a few more days to investigate the area.

This was my first visit to the Philippines. This hotel is located in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Olongapo City. There is a pool and free breakfast was available at a little cafe next store. The hotel had WiFi as well. The room was clean and comfortable, but what stands out the most is the excellent customer service. Celine and Andrea were very helpful and pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay here because the location is very accessible and convenient. Everything we needed was just nearby. Uncle John is just at the bldg. entrance. There are also restaurants in the building and other convenient stores. It is just walking distance to Harbor Point (Ayala), SM Olongapo Downtown and Royal Duty Free. Parking is provided for those who have cars. The unit is homey with aesthetics. We were comfortable with the beds and bedding. We also liked the digital lock of the unit. We did not have to worry about keys. Also the rain shower was very satisfying with hot and cold water. Ref was essential for us for storing food and drinks that needed to be preserved or served cold. Electric heater for coffee. Also plates, bowls, mugs and cups, spoons, forks, a small knife, kitchen scissors etc. Basic things needed are there. It would be more convenient if we can also cook but maybe it is not allowed for safety purposes of the bldg. We understand that. All in all, we had a great time.

I liked the soft pillows, spacious rooms, the good location, the ice and water dispenser at the end of the corridor. Also, the good breakfast choices and the lights in the bathroom which had a motion sensor.

There are many places to go. Many food choices.
There are many places to go. Many food choices. Exciting place to tour around the place and the adjacent towns for beach resorts. People are warm. Safe to walk along Magsaysay Avenue even at the wee hour at night. Teeming with nightlife, too. Many malls are in place. 2 SM Malls are located in the central area and in the downtown area. Harbor Point is located just adjacent to the main gate of SBMA. Beach resorts inside SBMA are great! with clean waters and a peaceful cove. Olongapo City is a great place.

This is perhaps the worst place to stay in Morong.
This is perhaps the worst place to stay in Morong. I love the serenity of the place but I love eating at the restaurants as well. I don’t like to cook when I’m on vacation. This place has no bar by the pool as stated on the site. You would have to drive over 1 km to have anything at all within the compound and pay 1K per person to have a snack or something to eat or drink. You can stay at a first class hotel with the best view of the sunset and sunrise at a much cheaper price. The 3 star rating of Booking for Anvaya Cove beach and nature resort is way overstated. I would not recommend this place at all especially the Anvaya Cove Penthouse 10-2BR. Nowhere in the site where it stated 1 bathroom. It should not accommodate 8 people for this type of a place. They want to make money so they overstate the condition of the place. The place has nothing special to offer as a matter of fact. I can stay at Kamana Santuary Resort and Spa and would have a better time, eat well and relax. Booking should not recommend this place at all. Booking should also have stated 1 bathroom available for 10 people. If you want to only take pictures of the sunset, you would have to pay 1K person, which was 8k for my family. What a joke this was. The owners of these condos must be house poor that they can’t even offer a welcome water or coffee to drink at the penthouse. I hope that people who are looking into staying at this place see this review so that they are saved from a time of misery and unnecessary expense. Please stay somewhere else.

Originally reported great stay with emphasis on “updating” decor furniture old and tired . Bed had old cover over bed stead and found rusty red stains on sheets . I now know this bed had bed bugs and my arm if swollen with over 7 bites from my stay at this hotel ! Beware
