This is a great modern hotel at the DTW airport. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly. The location for getting to/from the airport was great as was the valet service. Highly recommend this hotel.

We don’t do anything here except stay at an airport hotel one night and it was perfect for that. There were many hotels nearby and we saw people walking in the early evening maybe to walk to a hotel with a restaurant and bar.

staff were helpful _ I booked through Booking .Com on the way there and found out when I arrived that I had booked (or Booking .com made an error) a week in advance. The desk person was very helpful (but we were both helpless) to try and get the date changed. Don't use Booking .Dot Com! You end up paying for both dates if you make an error! Anyway we were pleasantly surprised by the amenities for the hotel and the price was very reasonable. (Booking.com's rate was honored). The room was very comfortable, bed was fine. Breakfast was fine too.

The Booking.com info on the hot Breakfast offered is completely misleading, almost none of the things mentioned on your website are available. Please update your website so other travellers are not mislead. To be clear, there were NO eggs, No muffins, No toast, No bagels, No fresh fruit, No yoghurt, No hot Oatmeal It was a most dissatisfying and disappointing breakfast!

First of all I was double charged for my room, which I'm still trying to get resolved!! The desk clerk said she fixed it, but she didn't so now I'm having to go thru my credit card company! Secondly, the bed was like sleeping on a rock. We both tossed and turned all night because our shoulders, ribs and hips were hurting. Thirdly, the location of the tv being on the side wall hurt your neck to watch tv. Plus there were coffee supplies in the room and no coffee maker!

I watched as they built the Allen Park Motor lodge, swan in the pool (no longer exists) and have stayed there many times. It is my home away from home. When I am in the Downriver area I stay there and would not stay anywhere else. It's like coming home.

Horrible experience highly NOT recommend. Rooms dirty, no cable/Internet in room, over priced, Rude staff, lack of compassion, support and communication with upper management. Have sent several emails with little to no response in regards to stay and concerns. Issues went unaddressed and dead upon ears. Waste of money and time!!! Going on a month of no resolution about stay or how to correct anything.

This place was awful.

This place was awful. A guy was passed out/Od'd in a car parked next to mine. It was very dirty. The room was so small we could barely move around each other. The bathroom was dirty and the size of a closet. The pool was dirty. A man with open sores on his legs got into the hot tub so we didn't even get to swim or enjoy the pool area. I checked in at 4pm and checked out at 7pm. Didn't even ask for my money back. Just wanted to get my kids out of this place. The key cards didn't even work. You could just open every door without a key card.

Romulus has a variety of older hotels, all needing a face...

Romulus has a variety of older hotels, all needing a face lift. Very few facilities are within walking distance of the hotels. The Sheraton has two other hotels within their property/parking area which are also within walking distance of Tropical Smoothie, Big Boy and McDonald's. It's hard to choose, because commerce is all linked to airport traffic. People working in the service industry appear tired and over worked. Treat them kindly and smile!
