The first night we were there the sweet lady taking care of...

The first night we were there the sweet lady taking care of the tables at dinner bent over backwards making sure We didn’t need anything more and she kept our tables so clean and neat. Very professional and friendly . We had breakfast and dinner at Drury Inn &Suites. So enjoyable and restful not having to leave our hotel, drive in traffic looking for a place to eat . We also enjoyed playing cards in the evening using the Dining area . So much fun

Didn't go to visit the town, but to stay at the Holiday Inn...

Didn't go to visit the town, but to stay at the Holiday Inn Hotel due to the pool facilities offered that looked exciting for the kids. I was right, the kids loved it and so did I! Bed was very comfortable, and Hotel was close to quite a few restaurant options within a 8 min drive. Not much going on in the town, but there was a nice park close by for the kids.

The facility and courtyard were clean.

The facility and courtyard were clean. The pool temperature was tolerable, and takeout food was right next door. The downfall was that there were no tables or chairs in the courtyard; we sat on the ground to eat our pizza. The breakfast could be better.

Very close to the highways and easy travel.

Very close to the highways and easy travel. John Ball Zoo was wonderful. Next to the hotel you have lots of store and restaurants and also Craigs Cruisers, awesome place for the whole family. Holland State Park for swimming was great, only 45 minutes away. Rockford, Mi is so beautiful. Downtown Grand Rapids only minutes away.

Byron Center was friendly and convenient to most anything you could need while traveling. It was easy to find what you wanted and traffic was light and manageable for travelers that aren't real familiar with the area.

Definitely visit The John Ball Zoo lantern festival and Peppinos restaurant in Grand Rapids. The comfort suites were nice only had one bad thing to say about my room the hair dryer was broke n floor was dirty but everything else was good. Will be back again this summer!!

Roach infested!!

Roach infested!! Two other families also complained of the roach problem. Now that we have brought them home in our luggage, we are going through very costly fumigation! And our house is new. The hotel property looks great but they definitely have nasty critters lurking! And they KNEW about it. We spent over $900 staying there and now we’re paying big money to have our home treated to rid it of roaches. HUGE ROACHES and many babies 🤮. Complete negligence on their part!!! I can show pictures of the roaches and the bill from Terminex. I had never seen a live roach til this experience. Disappointing. Very expensive lesson learned!!!

The carpets had a raunchy smell that they sprayed overpowering air fresheners on. Tile floors were sticky, urine around toilets, kitchen lack luster...had no fry pans or oven- ---drawer for silverware was stuck, but we finally got it open. Beds were ok, although I didnt sleep in the covers cause the carpet smell was so off putting it made me think nothing was clean. Heating/ cooling between the rooms was imbalanced leaving half of us overheated and the other half freezing- no good sleep. Mirrors were hazed and had spray from previous use. No fry pans in kitchen. Soaps quality was good. .Smell was overpowering and off putting. Didn't try the breakfast or pool...just generally didnt trust it with the smell and cleanliness issue. Personnel were super nice, helpful and kind. Best part of my stay!

Shoot, my apologies, I just discovered this review was for Towneplace Suites in Wyoming, Michigan where I stayed the night before and the facility was absolutely fine and the people and the room were great. I meant to give a bad review to where I attempted to stay through Booking.com the following evening. It is a towneplace suites in Battle Creek Michigan at 12917 Harper Village Dr. THEY get the bad review. That facility and those people were a disgrace to Marriott.

We did eat at Mr. Burgers.

We did eat at Mr. Burgers. Reviews said it was better than 5 Guys. I don't agree but it was good. Did takeout pizza one night from Sara's Pizza. Excellent!!!! We had no problems getting around. We came for The Found Cottage Mercantile market and loved it. Also did some antiquing and hit the Tanger Outlet Mall in Byron Center. We had a very nice time.
