We hadn't been in that area for about 4 yrs visiting family, but staying at this place was worth the trip ! Convenient to everything , great staff, nice room, clean , great price, breakfast was like eating at home ! Staff really made it edible, not thrown together ! The older hotels around them need to go get some tips of doing the same or better !!

Located super close to the airport, it was just a short drive after picking up our hire car. Super comfy bed and the lady who checked us in was very efficient which was appreciated after more than 24 hours in transit. The free breakfast was really good and a great start to our day. I would happily stay again. Free parking was another bonus

McGhee Tyson Airport is set in Alcoa, which is 12 miles (19 kilometres) from the city of Knoxville. The best way to connect to the city is by taxi, which will take less than half an hour and cost about USD 22.

Alcoa Hwy doesn't have any stoplights and it's hard to make...

Alcoa Hwy doesn't have any stoplights and it's hard to make turns into or out of businesses on this strip of road. Other than that, there are lots of places to eat and shop in Alcoa and Maryville. Also a good proximity to Knoxville.

We came for a wedding and wished we could have stayed longer...

We came for a wedding and wished we could have stayed longer to have been able to visit more local spots.Calhoun's was a wonderful dining experience-you MUST try the banana pudding!!!! Smoky Mountain National Park is a must see as is The Christmas Place.Traffic can be a bit busy but it is after all a tourist area. Well worth the effort and time.

Great find with amazing food options and the lodge is so gorgeous. I will definitely return. The outdoor spaces were amazing and coffee service in each of the buildings was a nice touch. Ice machines in each building would be a nice added feature but the bar was accomodating!

I love Knoxville.

I love Knoxville. There are many places to explore and it's so rich in history that you just have to come back. I recommend trying out some of the local restaurants like Asia Cafe on Callahan Drive and Elidio's Pizza. You won't be disappointed.

The people are very friendly, helpful and happy. Just an absolute joy to have visited with so many of them! Antique shops, Snoring Bear diner were my favorites almost in walking distance of the hose we rented

Excellent place to visit! People are very friendly!Texas Roadhouse was an excellent restaurant choice! Great service and the FOOD was great! Shopping was great also! Great area for parents of UT students to stay and shop. Loved it there in Alcoa!!

We love this area and visit often.

We love this area and visit often. Our main focus is driving the roads but we do like to take time (or a rainy day) to head to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or Knoxville to check out the tourist attractions. Maryville is wonderfully central to everything that we want to see or do and has a ton of places to eat, stay, get gas, etc.

Lots of fun things to see and do in knoxville . I would recommend visiting the sunsphere in down town . Also the river boat cruise is exciting For history buffs visit the John white home very Informative To eat you must try Austin's steakhouse and family buffet

The hotel is welcoming and comfortable. There are several restaurants within walking distance and shopping just a short drive away. A walking trail is steps from the hotel and you can stretch your legs on the nearby greenway trail.

Putschke Deli was our firsts stop.

Putschke Deli was our firsts stop. Had a superb Reuben sami for lunch. We loved the Hotel (Oliver) where we stayed. We ate ate dinner at 'The Royal Oliver' one evening, and it was tops. We went to French Market twice for pancakes and coffee. It is very close to the Oliver! The Market Square offers so much in terms of restaurants, coffee stops and music. 'Chivo Taqeria' had fabulous Tacos and a great selection of Tequila's. The History museum and Modern art museum are a must! A Stroll to the University, the Cathedral, the Neyland Stadium and the walk next to the river was awesome. Knoxville is a lovely city to visit, and it was easy to get around.
