Everything was in order when we arrived; Loved the labels explaining where things were and how things worked; Rooms were clean and organized. Great communication from the hosts. Love they were thoughtful to have a noise machine in the bedroom; and they thought of everything we could use on our visit. We would love to stay with them again!

We were there for July 4th.

We were there for July 4th. We enjoyed the Downtown Festival and Darnell Farms. We ate at the Tuck and Table, Pasqualino's Italian Restaurant, and Everett Street Diner (Breakfast). I recommend all of them. We did not have a day to kayak, Not enough time. We will definitely visit again.

The Little town of Bryson is so cute!

The Little town of Bryson is so cute! I like riding the train. Looking inside the train museum. Eating at boxcar Café in combs cones!! I like eating at the native brews. I liked the iron wok their Chinese was good. There’s an Italian place next to the red light that starts with a P I would not eat there again!!!!! it was bad. Completely. The atmosphere just didn’t seem like an authentic Italian restaurant should. The seat they sent me up was dirty so luckily my boyfriend swept it off for me so I can sit down. What we all ordered to eat I felt like I could’ve made at home better!! The gift shops and stuff was nice to walk around and look in and it helped beat the heat. So if you don’t like too much heat, I would recommend coming February through maybe May and then maybe September onward. I like the loose moose and I was in LOVE with Uncle Bunkies’s little Christmas village shop right outside from where you aboard to train ride. There’s a gift shop. I forget the name, but it starts with an M. It has a big black bear dressed up Santa. He was a cute shop. If you love chocolate, go to the chocolate shoppe & ice creamery. Their chocolate was delicious. I would recommend getting their big pecan clusters. I think that’s what it was called in their toffee. They had this one thing that that was called better than a Twix bar, but I would’ve just preferred an actual Twix bar because there’s tasted a little stale on the cookie part. But the whole town’s cute little area I would recommend coming at least once. I came back in April then now in July 4. And then I’ll be back November. 😊

Bryson City has that small town charm that's perfect for relaxing and some very good restaurants and shops. Pasqualino's Italian restaurant is excellent. McClanahans is a nice sop for clothes and nick nacks.

Bryson city is a quaint beautiful little town with lots to offer. The Bryson City railways is located right in the middle of their town and offers lots of train rides. Near Christmas, they offer Polar express rides for the entire family. There is also a train museum to explore. Plenty of stores to shop and several nice eatery's. There's several hotels and motels located close by for a nice stay. Bryson City is near the great Smokey Mountains and national parkway which is just minutes away. Bryson City is also located near Cherokee NC. Cherokee is another nice place to visit and learn about the Cherokee Indians. In the summer there are lots of water activities to explore around the Bryson City and Cherokee areas. If you are inclined to adventure, there's the Fontana Dam with it's beautiful scenery. You can also take a tour, that you can learn the history of the dam and the surrounding area. One other thing I failed to mention is there is a working farm in Bryson City that's open to the public..... Darnell Farms. In the summer you can find most any kind of fresh produce. They offer cold specialty fruit drinks that are absolutely delicious. They have something for everyone. They offer at different times... live music and local cloggers. It sits next to the river and they have picnic tables to enjoy and swings for the kiddo's. Just an all around beautiful place to visit.

There is very little to do in this small, but charming mountain town. However, there were at least 2 breweries with excellent beer! Several restaurant choices and bakeries within 3 blocks. Imagine it is quite touristy in summer, but early May was not crowded. If you've never ridden an old fashioned train it is quite nice but gorge views weren't fantastic. The dining car was a pricey but great experience. And the free railroad museum was spectacular.

Cute town with shops to explore; restaurants with quality foods and service. Keep in mind the town shops and myseums closes up around 5 pm! People there work to live; not live to work! Restaurants were enjoyable and the main feature—Great Smoky Mountain Railway is the reason to go there so be sure to include time to get on it!

Location was amazing, view from dining area over the river was great, place was clean, had WiFi and Roku, kitchen appliances good, washer and dryer were handy, bed comfortable, bathroom clean, good hot shower, gas grill was nice. Fun to watch the fly fishermen wading and floating on the river, nice to see the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad train on the other side of the river. Easy drive into Bryson City or Cherokee.

Great location, cute and cozy cabin! Everything was clean, the kitchen had what I needed, loved the outdoor seating in the front and side. Places to eat or grab coffee are just minutes away. Bryson City is just 15 to 20 minutes away. There's also a lovely farm, and a winery 25 minutes away. Great communication from the host. Exactly the peaceful getaway I needed to reset and recharge.
