Easy to find and not on the busy main road. Two minutes drive from the large mall for shopping and dining. Room was cold in June but aircon and doonas soon warmed up the night. Secure off street parking and spacious family unit. Was great to soak in the bath after driving 400km.

The "pet friendly room" we booked was not the room given to us. We had no warm water, no wifi connection. The bathroom was disgusting, bedding was dirty, the mattress had a cigarette burn in it, room floor was not cleaned or vacuumed in a long time. The staff lady was incredibly rude and does not have the right attitude to welcome or serve guests.Its a shame because the grounds are well kept and so much potential. But they must clearly state/advertise what rooms you wil get if you bring pets. On a positive, the manager and food is decent

We were passing through on our way to Botswana and realised...
We were passing through on our way to Botswana and realised we had left our binoculars and torches at home, fortunately Vryburg had a mall with a Cape Union Mart so we were able to buy what we needed.

Vryburg is a very busy town.
Vryburg is a very busy town. The streets are in poor shape, full of potholes. You do not feel safe in mid town at all.
I could stay at Lavender Lodge all day long, because the garden and pool are awesome and the room very comfy and cool.
We ate dinner at OppiBult Steakhouse and bar and it was not nice at all. 3 Drunk men were looking for a fight with the poor bartender. However, if you want the best Jalapeno Poppers in SA you should order them there.

The whole place is small and easy to get to.
The whole place is small and easy to get to. The lodge itself was nice and had the best manicured garden. But why is there no dinner served at the restaurant? OTherwise everything else was superb. And very friendly staff too.
