⭐ A Truly Exceptional Stay at Potch Manor ⭐ Our experience at Potch Manor was outstanding from beginning to end. From the warm welcome on our first day to the thoughtful accommodations made throughout our stay, everything exceeded our expectations. We were in Potchefstroom for my daughter’s graduation, which meant a busy schedule with makeup appointments, hair installations, and photography sessions. Almari went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. She even offered the main foyer for our photoshoot — a gesture that made our day even more special. The breakfasts were delicious, and on our final morning, she kindly extended breakfast hours so we could sleep in after a night of celebrating. That level of personal care meant so much to us. A special mention goes to the lovely lady who assisted us on Wednesday. Although I regret forgetting her name, her warmth, exceptional customer service, and genuine kindness made us feel truly cared for. We felt her love in every interaction. Everything about our stay — the staff, the room, the food, and the overall service — was simply perfect. Thank you, Potch Manor, for making this milestone so memorable. I will definitely book again whenever I return to Potchefstroom.

Unfortunately, the breakfast was not as advertised, and 80% of the time, there was no one at the reception. While I was showering, the tabs electrocuted me. No dinner cause they ran out of supplies and had to eat breakfast for dinner and made me pay the full price while providing half of the advertised on the menu

The breakfast was fantastic every morning and on time, we never had to wait for anything at all. Was really a wonderful experience and i would recommend Honey Bee Guesthouse to anyone who is looking for affordable accommodation. We had aircons in our rooms, and a fridge, and our own bathrooms with a shower and a bath. Definitely worth the money.

I've always liked Harties.

I've always liked Harties. It's a great short hop frm Jhb to peace n much needed rest as a getaway place. I could've just slept my time away there but there's plenty to do like the spas and pampering I enjoyed nearby. That hyacinth growing on the water was a great turn -off but made me aware of the responsibility we have towards nature.

Honestly the place have a long way to improve, poor rooms no luxury at all doors dont lock , restaurant dont have the displayed menu breakfast same menu till check out, wifi offline from checkin to check out so disapointed took my wife for a birthday , swimming pool not working after buying swim wear disappointing , the manager is a barman who will tell you hes busy when asked to talk to , only good consistent thing is room service,place lacks proper management and proper renovations am sad

So we drove with family from Botswana , our friends were already checked in. It was a perfect drive . Observing all road rules, upon arrival, our rooms were ready and the set up was great. We went for dinner and the food was amazing.

Home away from Home. The Service was top notch as usual. Mai, Abe's wife was very accomodating whilst he was away. Although I only swam on Saturday, it was just great to just rest and chill. This was my fourth visit this year and awesome as usual. I will certainly be back a few more times before year-end.

I liked everything with my stay, nothing could be improved. From excellent receptionist to meals and housekeeping. Beautiful, breathtaking views, neat and tidy gardens and surroundings. I would recommend it to my friends and relatives

Pilanesberg National Park is extraordinary not just for the wildlife, but for the landscape itself. The reserve sits inside the remains of an ancient volcanic crater formed over a billion years ago, creating dramatic rings of hills, rich soils and varied habitats that attract an incredible diversity of animals. Driving through it feels almost prehistoric...rugged rock formations, wide plains and beautiful light everywhere you look. A fascinating mix of geology and safari experience.

Madikwe Game Reserve is, without a doubt, my favourite game reserve. The breathtaking landscapes are unlike anywhere else, with a beautiful mix of open plains, rocky outcrops, and lush bushveld that make every game drive a feast for the eyes. The wildlife is simply incredible, and Madikwe never disappoints. Every visit brings unforgettable sightings and unique experiences, making each trip feel as special as the first. Whether it's the Big Five, endangered wild dogs, or the abundance of birdlife, there is always something amazing to see. What keeps me coming back is the consistency of the experience. Madikwe combines spectacular scenery, exceptional wildlife, and a true sense of wilderness that is hard to match. It is a place that captures your heart, and I can't wait to return again and again.

Hartebeespoort is great but this resort is was non existent. Nobody to receive us or open the doors. Phoned 3 x times and no response. Had to scramble to find alternative accommodation. Please refund me.
