The property is in quiet harmony with the natural environment. The rooms overlook the untouched landscape as far as the eye can see. Wild animals are easily spotted from the private deck. We experienced two game drives per day which allowed us to see the Big Five in just a few days. Led by safari guide Jafari, we were able to get great looks at most of the Pilanesberg wild animals in total safety. On my final day there I made a special request for a Birding Walk around the immediate area and was led by highly experienced guide named Andre through the bush. As we walked for over three hours and 1.63 mi, we observed 47 different bird species including: Spotted Eagle-Owl, Brown Snake-Eagle, Black-winged Kite, Gabar Goshawk, and a Brown-Hooded Kingfisher. The food was prepared by a gourmet chef and was delicious. We all ate at a family style table together for meal time and great conversations.

So we drove with family from Botswana , our friends were...

So we drove with family from Botswana , our friends were already checked in. It was a perfect drive . Observing all road rules, upon arrival, our rooms were ready and the set up was great. We went for dinner and the food was amazing.

The Pilanesberg National Park is a lovely park close to Johannesburg with everything you want in terms of game viewing. The Kingdom is a great place to stay it's very close to the park and very affordable compared with the lodges inside the Petersburg itself so it's a really good option. The rooms are modern and very comfortable and they take a lot of care to make sure that there's not too much noise in there in the complex so you can you don't have to worry about loud raucous parties necessarily if you're looking to get up early the next morning to go for an early game drive

We stayed at The Kingdom resort. its a very well run...

We stayed at The Kingdom resort. its a very well run operation with great facilities for kids and adults and is very close to the Pilanesberg Game reserve. It is much more cost effective than staying in the park which is exhorbitantly expensive

Its an amazing place anchored by Sun City ... I believe that Sun City should also partner with locals to create curated events and property for Internationals to enjoy and be immersed in the true culture of the villages and townships in their authenticity.

Distance between Ledig and Sun City is a little above 5km.

Distance between Ledig and Sun City is a little above 5km. The streets are badly eroded and not easy to drive and are also too narrow within the township. There is a great potential for growth if road infrastructure can be well taken care of. There are great friendly people who are ready to help should you get lost or encounter problems.

The location is great as Sun City is around the corner from...

The location is great as Sun City is around the corner from Kwa Maritane and for those who are interested in seeing Sun City. Road from Johannesburg/Pretoria to the area not great, watch out for high speed bumps (not marked) and cattle.

The resort is very nice and good for relaxation when resting. Loved the nature around the resort. The villas are spacious and neatly put to give privacy with the private patio. There is enough entertainment that caters to both kids and adults on the resort. In overall I do recommend it as a good first option than staying at Sun City hotels due to the value for money and the set up for the rooms makes you feel like you have your own home from home. Loved it.

The whole hotel was so lovely. To watch the animals on the reserve was so special. Rooms were comfortable. The game drives were amazing. We saw all the Big 5. Desmond was exceptional. Great value for money.

Nice comfortable hotel, good selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Free tennis court, mini golf and few other games. We saw elephant from restaurant terrace two times during our stay.

Great game drives. A herd of elephants came up to the lodge restaurant and was a pleasure to see this. The hide near the hotel is also a big bonus and we saw hippo and elephant there.
