Lovely overnight on our way to Port Elizabeth. The staff was very communicative and welcomed us heartily. The apartment was clean and spacious, with everything we needed to help ourselves to a meal if we chose to. The local restaurants were walkable and the walking path in front was a great bonus. We had the ocean view which I recommend.

Breakfast was great as was the location and facilities although I did not get to experience much. Checked in, in the afternoon and left for a function at 18h00. Back at midnight and out before 10h00. Rates are on the less affordable side for the standard South African, although I do understand this is peak season.

The place is in a breathtaking location! A mix of Fynbos/Karoo and you can even hear the nightjars in the evening calling from the rocks above the lodge and during the day the Bonteboks and Rock Hyrax were very close. The food was truly exceptional and the staff is so friendly and does really want to make you happy! It was full moon so it was a but unfortunate as there is no light pollution and star gazing must be amazing in this place. Nothing to complain at all! We definitely will book this beautiful place again

We loved our rooms, which had gorgeous views of the golf course and ocean. For early risers, a sunrise with a coffee is unforgettable. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is an absolute delight, with a huge tub to soak away in. The buffet breakfast had a nice variety of options, from your classic egg station to salmon pâté and scones. If you take the option with breakfast included, it is great value for money. The golf course is one of the most beautiful courses I have played in my life.

I am a previous resident of Cape Town and came back home to attend a funeral. Cape Town is still so very beautiful and I miss those familiar sights and sounds that make Cape Town the best city in the world. It was so good to visit the V & A Waterfront and the view of Table Mountain is still breathtaking. I stayed at the Colosseum Hotel in Century City and it's a superb hotel.

Multiple wineries are located close together, making this region perfect for wine and food lovers. We chose it for the convenience of the Wine Tram, but in reality, getting around by Uber was more efficient, cheaper. The Wine Tram was fun but we found the schedule quite rushed. There are plenty of Uber drivers, making it easy and inexpensive to travel between wineries. The wines are excellent and there are many beautiful restaurants. We highly recommend Reuben's and the Rickety Bridge Restaurant.

Oudtshoorn is a lovely karoo town with everything you need. It offers a variety of activities (nature based, wine tasting, agricultural and shopping etc.) and a couple of days spent in Oudtshoorn will allow you to also visit the surrounding smaller towns (de Rust, Calitzdorp). We had not been to Mossel Bay in about 20 years and it has grown so much. It is no longer just about the Point and Diaz areas. Hartenbos - is a strong draw card too. Old, new, beaches, harbour, and easy access to George and the airport. Big malls, unfortunately limited small quaint shops from what we could tell but it certainly seems Mossel Bay is growing.
