Roberto met us in the lobby upon arrival. We arrived on the last ferry of the night, but he waited up for us. This was very considerate and we appreciated it very much. He made the check-in process swift and painless and showed us to our room immediately. The location is a short walk from the night life of Portoferraio but nestled in a residential neighborhood. There is an ocean view from the sprawling balconies. The parking is right across the street and very convenient. The room was large and clean. Walking distance to so many beaches. The closest of course is Padulella. But also nearby and walkable are Capo Bianco, Le Ghiaie, and Sottobomba. Only a 10 minute walk to cafes and restaurants.

AllegroItalia Golf Elba offers self-catering accommodations halfway between Portoferraio and Porto Azzurro, and on the edge of Acquabona Golf Club. Each apartment has a sea-view terrace.

Its a nice, comfortable place to stay. The staff was very kind and furthermore they gave a hand when I had difficulties. The apartman was clean and big we found everything what we needed in the kitchen for cooking and we could enjoy the view from a huge terrace. Really quiet place, completely isolated.

Stayed in this hotel 50 years ago, on honymoon. Also stayed here 25 years ago, on our silver anniversary. This stay was on our golden anniversary, so, obviously we did like most aspects of the hotel.

The staff are the best - so helpful and friendly The view is phenomenal and we spent much of our days just at the property enjoying the view in our lounge chairs, watching the sunset, hanging on the beach which is only a 2 minute walk away. Town is only a 4 minute drive - couldn't be a better location
