Wadano Gateway made my stay in Hakuba the best part of my whole Japan trip. The apartment room is sooo spacious and it is the cleanest hotel I've ever been in. The free bike rental is great for getting around the beautiful village. I'll be staying here again!

Brand new property with cheap price (i got a one bed room apartment for approximately 100 euros per night) Spacious and clean. Wonderful amenities from kitchen utensils to washing machines with detergent. Plus, it comes with mountain view. The only downside is that it is a little far from the city but if you rent a car, then it’s not a problem at all. Also, you have to go to another hotel to check in and there’s no staff at the property to assist you if you have problems. My room’s door(room 102) won’t open after we insert the door passcode but after it happens for several times, i solved it out myself by keep pushing the door left and right until it opens.

The owner was very kind and welcoming and made us feel at home right away. Our 4-bed room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The whole building is gorgeous, Japanese style, with a lovely waterfall garden out front (which was covered in snow during our trip!) The private onsen downstairs was a treat. The owner was generous enough to let us store our bags on our departure day while we went skiing, and then offered for us to use the onsen before we left. The place is in a great location, walking distance from the ski hills, restaurants, and shops. You will enjoy your stay here!

The place is close to ski rental and I could even return the equipments at the hotel. The room clean and comfortable and was well stocked with food and drinks. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at 三笠の宿 Mikasanoyado free of charge. Towels and bed linen are offered in the condo hotel. The accommodation is non-smoking.
