We stayed in May and loved it so much we returned within weeks, that says it all! The kids had a blast in the pool, while we enjoyed the nearby bar (purely for hydration, of course). The beach is just a short stroll away and blissfully quiet, even in July. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet has something for everyone. Relaxing, family-friendly, and just the right balance between fun and calm. Already planning our next visit!

We stayed in Alfagar Prestige one bedroom apartment. It was very big and comfortable. The resort has so much to do for kids and the food in all of the restaurants was really good. The staff in reception are super helpful. Everything about the resort is clean and comfortable

The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. I very much enjoyed having a living room and open kitchen, and a nice spacious bedroom and large bed. The appliances in the kitchen all worked perfectly, it was quiet and cleaning was available whenever needed and the staff super friendly. The wifi was fast which I appreciated for work. It wasn't the season for the outdoor pool but I liked that there were facilities onsite also such as sauna and gym. Free parking onsite was also appreciated! The location was perfect, close to restaurants and bars and Mareta beach, yet still a calm area.

Vila Luz offers self-contained accommodations overlooking the Atlantic Ocean from a cliff among landscaped gardens.

Everyone was so lovely and kind. I think this is one of the most positive experiences we have had. The lovely gentlemen at the front desk were so helpful and gave great advice for excursions .. the rooms were great and clean. The housekeeping staff was so friendly and sweet.
