This was a beautifully restored farmhouse that had been originally been built in 1720. The current owner was the sixth generation and he had spent 15 years renovating. He was obviously a true craftsman and took pride in what he had done. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating and I heartily recommend this tranquil location if you are in the area. There was a grocery store nearby (10 minutes by bike) and we took advantage of the kitchen in order to prepare our meals. There was a vending machine at the property with beer and local wine as well as some local specialties.

We stayed in this location for the longest time of our trip. It was wonderful to have such a spacious place. We also deeply appreciated the refrigerator and most especially the freezer. There was a good selection of spices and condiments available.

The apartment was extremely clean and the beds were quite comfortable. A great and well equipped kitchen for those wishing to prepare their own food. For those with longer stays there is a clothes washer and ironing board. The WC was bright and well equipped with soaps, towels etc. We liked the quiet location too as it is located in a residential neighbourhood with no racing traffic.
