Apartments in Río Lagartos

The apartment was clean and well furnished. The area is beautiful, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. They even took us out on their boat to show us around the lagoon area and beaches. They also helped us arrange a boat tour of the nature preserve with a local guide. We saw flamingoes, crocodiles, and a huge sea turtle.

We loved our stay here! The space and apartment were really modern, clean and well equipped. I loved that you could see the water from the room too, plus the hammock was lovely to relax on. It was the perfect place to relax. The hosts were really helpful and booked us a tour out to see the flamingos. He was excellent and both the accomodation and the trip made Rio Lagartos a standout stop on our Mexico trip.

The owners, Jaime and Paloma, couldn’t have been nicer, more helpful, and super friendly. They have thought of lots of little things that you don’t see in other apartments. We spent 5 nights and totally enjoyed ourselves. I loved chatting with Paloma while Jaime was out fishing. The hammock, location to Malecon, tour boats, and seafood restaurants were all pluses. We used Juan as our guide. He was excellent, but doesn’t speak English.
