A magical farm stay experience (with a slightly bumpy start) We arrived at The Woods Farm around 6:30 pm, and to be honest, it was a little unsettling at first — the entire property was pitch dark, and we couldn’t find a single staff member around. After calling via WhatsApp, we found out that we needed to locate our cottage ourselves, which was quite tricky in the dark and a bit worrying. But as it turns out, this is just how things work here. Our mood shifted completely once we found our cottage — and wow, it was stunning. Beautifully built with high-quality materials, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed: 3 comfy bedrooms, a lovely living room, and a full kitchen. The next morning, we understood why this place gets so much praise. We were greeted by wild kangaroos hopping across the massive backyard, and the kids were absolutely thrilled. Then came the real highlight — feeding time at the farm! We got to meet and feed alpacas, goats, sheep, cows, pigs, ponies, and even wild parrots who pecked sunflower seeds straight from our hands. Our 3- and 8-year-olds were in absolute heaven — it was truly something special. There’s also a huge playground right next to the pool, which was perfect for the kids to burn off more energy. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. Our kids are still talking about it long after we’ve moved on to our next destination. If we weren’t already committed to a tight travel plan, we definitely would have stayed longer. Highly recommend for families looking for a unique and unforgettable farm stay!

The house has been beautifully renovated and came with everything we needed for a weekend stay! The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the host was easy to deal with. Would recommend.

Great accomodation! Super clean. Well fitted out with everything you could think of including kitchen equipment. Spacious apartment including large spa bath. Beautiful views of the sunset from the property! Good location as well to walk up to the local club for dinner. Could not recommend more highly!

Very clean, big TV, newly renovated, new appliances and kitchenwares, near basin and shops

Lovely well kitted out studio apartment, kitchen was very well stocked with fruit, crumpets, milk, eggs, etc. in the fridge. Even had an air fryer! Fantastic location on St. George’s Basin, beautiful walk around the water and two kayaks to take out supplied by Joe and Sonia.

Very tidy, clean and comfortable

We had a really nice stay! The room was cozy, very clean, with new furniture and a great bathroom. Everything felt well thought out with attention to detail. The breakfast/living area was comfortable and welcoming. The host was always reachable and very responsive, which made the stay even easier. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location. From the moment we arrived Tracy was so kind and welcoming. I really appreciate everything she did to make our stay even more enjoyable. The kids loved being near the water and seeing some kangaroos and pelicans. We will definitely be back.
