Location, clean & budget friendly

The hotel is very clean, and the staff is polite, especially James. He was very patient in sharing recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. This trip was to celebrate a birthday, and they accommodated our request to have our rooms next to each other. At one point, there was a sudden power outage in our room, but the staff responded quickly to assess the situation and restore the electricity. The only downside was that the soundproofing in the room wasn’t great, making it easy to hear children crying. However, I still highly recommend this hotel!

I traveled from the U.S., so I benefited from the exchange rate. The Canadian rate for the room was $229. The hotel is in the middle of downtown, adjacent to the beach, and within easy walking distance of countless choices for food or beverage. I had a corner room, with two balconies, one side overlooking downtown, the other side overlooking the harbor and Lake Okanagan. Of course, adjacent to the lake, there is a large sidewalk, and boardwalk, and a wetland preserve, and an opportunity to see beautiful downtown architecture. It is a 5 minute walk to the Kelowna Community Theater, which is why I was in town. The TV and channel selections were excellent, and I think my king size bed was the best quality I've ever experienced. I traveled all over the U.S. for 36 years for business. I think this was the most comfortable, aesthetic accommodation I've ever had.

Comfortable with a great restaurant.

It’s in a university’s dormitory, technically not a hotel, but the price I paid is definitely cheaper than staying in a hotel. I like that they have a big kitchen, although there’s no any cooking equipment and tableware, but I know that by reading the comment and come well prepared.

It was nice because it had a theme.

Large suite, easy to access. Comfortable beds and lots of room to move about. Kitchen well equipped.

Beautiful house where you feel comfortable from the beginning. And just a few minutes walking from the downtown. Breakfast was really good as well. Thank you Mitsuko and Norm to make our stay so comfortable.

Had a wonderful stay at Beach Lake View Resort! The host was extremely accommodating, allowing us to check in early, and was always very responsive and helpful whenever we called. The highlight of our visit was definitely the stunning lake view from the property-absolutely beautiful and made our stay even more relaxing. The location is perfect, right on the water with easy access to the beach and close to local attractions. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic scenery and top-notch hospitality.
