Beach Hotels in Pachyammos

I feel a bit sad revealing a secret that I'd like to keep to my friends, but not sharing it would be unfair to the owner. This place is a real hidden gem. In my opinion, it's one of the best locations in Cyprus. Mountains on one side, very calm and beautiful sea on the other side. A flat in a beautiful house, overlooking the sea. It's about 20 meters above the sea, but the place is so quiet and the property is so close to the sea that you can always hear the waves, both when you fall asleep and when you wake up. The sea is very calm on this side of Cyprus. In addition, Pachiamos is located in a bay. There is a trail right from the house, leading to a small beach, about 100 metres wide, surrounded by two rocks, making it a kind of a private beach for 3 houses located above. The entrance to the sea is a bit rocky, with two rocks standing out on the right hand side 20-30 metres from the shore. It was not a problem when I was staying (late October), as the sea was extremely calm, but if there are waves, you may want to go to another beach, just 150-200 metres from the property, at your right. The beach is small pebbles, but from about 40 metres the sea bottom becomes sand. I swam about 400 metres from the shore, and I could still clearly see the sea bottom. Although we stayed in late October, I believe the place is quiet even in high season. The reason is that there only a few houses around, and the village is pretty small. Thank you from Alex.

The ambience, the layout, the views, the cleanliness and the friendliness of our hostess really made this place special. She went out of her way to ensure our four day stay was a great event and memorable.

Location is just perfect for those who value peace, silence and being close to the nature. Marvelous sea view, fresh and air, evenings in front of fireplace, listening to the sound of waves. We'll definitely will come back one day...

The beach right there was excellent. Loved waking up in the morning and seeing the beach. The pool was beautiful and the hammocks were my favorite!

The villa is a brilliant location - great sea views. Walking distance to a fine restaurant. Many exciting drives into the mountains close to the villa. The villa was prefect - everything ready for use in the kitchen. Outside a fine swimming pool and plenty of seating and outside dining. The 5 bedrooms are all well equipped and towels are provided for each bedroom including towels for use around the pool

All was good. A quiet place with stunning scenery and amazing sunsets, just a minute's walk to the sea. The hosts, Matheus and Vasileos, were very helpful. Cleanliness and amenities were excellent; we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our weekend. It would be great to have a cutting board in the kitchen and slightly faster internet. Also, the door stoppers and handles are a bit loud

Very pleasant stay. All in all a very relaxing holiday. It was really well cleaned when we arrived and smelt so good. We spent some really nice, warm evenings around the pool. We warmly recommend this villa to all of you for your next holiday!

In October the whole apartment was empty... So the swimming pool and the whole resort was only for private use. Super weather, super sea temp for swimming and empty still open beach bar.

The most underrated place I’ve ever been to - and that’s taking in mind the nearly perfect 10/10 score it has on all platforms. Where other hosts will present a room bigger or nicer, this host massively undersold the BEACHFRONT APARTMENT (front line no obstruction at all) with professional cleaning staff that comes and helps out without asking and they make sure you have everything. I was honestly afraid to stay at a place where the host lives on site but Vasilis and his family actually live in the village, and run this as its own property- meaning - they’re accessible - but they’re not like “living there”. - utmost peace - quiet, clean - the food I was able to get at the unique Cypriot small village cafe and restaurant was 11/10 lamb at super reasonable “village” prices. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to all my friends. In fact, it would be hard to stay anywhere else if you need a seaview getaway since the flight to Paphos is cheap and they have plenty of apartments available (all seem to be direct seaview front line apartments as far as I could tell). The best thing is that you can trust this host. His entire family are super lovely people. For example - my car died and they helped me jumpstart it… I have only good things to say. It would be best if you have a car just because public transport doesn’t seem to be a thing and everything is so easily accessible by car. Northern Cyprus and specifically Polis- to- Pomos is the most scenic part of the island with turquoise waters and endless views of the sea as you drive along the road. Best holiday I ever took (and that’s in April so swimming in the sea wasn’t even on the table).
