The staff go above and beyond to help. Big shout out to Emily, nothing is too much trouble. Well stocked shop and not too expensive. Clean park with nice lakes and wildlife.

Great location for visiting Minsmere and other nature reserves. Quiet location set back from the road. Easy and safe off street parking. The fridge was really nice to have. Excellent takeaway breakfast provided so we could get an early start. The hosts are lovely people and helped us out in a pinch (lent us a pump for a leaking tire until we could get it fixed the next morning, which saved our day- thank you!)

A very attractive and comfortable place, in perfect order with great attention to detail. One of the nicest places I've stayed in over many years of renting. Everything worked well, it was spotlessly clean and we happily cooked in as the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the easy-to-use gas fire. The beds were comfortable. Easy, free parking close by. A few minutes walk from Leiston which has a good-sized supermarket.

Lovely quiet rural location with perfect charm. Very warm and cosy, particularly loved the wood-burning fire (see comments about single log provided). Absolutely idyllic location for a wintery get-away. Despite the fact a storm was blowing outside, the accommodation was quiet, draught free and warm.

Rooms all look very nice. We have stayed here twice and both trips we felt our sleep in Leiston was best of the week.

Alistair and Ruth were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed chatting with them over the excellent British breakfasts. The room was modern and comfortable, there's a garden that allows the odd chicken or cat in when Millie is napping. The location is great for touring the Suffolk coast or dashing off to Sizewell. Great Indian restaurant, Cinnamon, a few minutes walk away. Definitely do it again.

This was our first time to visit the beautiful county of Suffolk and we were so fortunate to stay at Squirrel. The place is spotless with a fully fitted kitchen, modern bathroom with a powerful shower and cosy living area. Gary, the host, was super friendly and gave us lots of advice about places to visit. I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Location was amazing, the cottage had plenty of space, the Woodburner created a wonderful environment in the evening. The view from the second bedroom is incredible and the cottage has everything you need for a great break.
