South West Coast Path walkers dream. A bath. A power shower. Very hot water. A comfy bed with clean bedding. Electricity. A bar. Fantastic cabaret. Great receptionist and bar staff too. Thank you!

It’s an old hotel that has a lot of personal memories for me. The views across the bay are unparalleled. 50 years ago this hotel was high class and iconic. Today that has faded, and it is not the 5 star hotel of yesteryear, but it still has elegance, space, style and setting that is unbeatable in Torquay. Also, at the time of staying (Jan 2024), the restaurant underpromises and over delivers. I would describe the food as casual haute cuisine. Impeccable menu, well balanced, all sauces made with concentrated and crafted flavors that are clearly prepared by a high quality chef. Also, thoroughly enjoyed a mud pack and massage. All the staff were friendly, helpful, attentive. Not the place it was but still a great place to stay.

Amazing value, location was excellent, breakfast was more than adequate, evening entertainment was great with the added bonus of a quiz. This property exceeded my expectations in every sense and was just a lovely little find near to everything.

Everything was perfect near enough breakfast was great. Staff was great. Food prices were cheap and food was nice.

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely member of staff. We had been upgraded to a suite. The room was fabulous. The hotel is really nice, great location, good food. Will definitely stay again!

The room has a rack with hangers. The bed is very comfortable. There is a heating unit. An electric kettle for coffee and tea is available. The bathroom is adequate. The hotel is within walking distance from two train stations. There are eating and drinking places nearby. Torquay seafront is about a 12-minute walking distance. The staff is friendly and very helpful and made you feel at home.

Great facilities. Nice heated pools. Sauna and steam room. Friendly staff and entertainment were good. Lots to do for kids.

The whole staff was amazing! Very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful! I loved my stay and will recommend this hotel for future stays! The restaurant had a very wide range of options, and every meal was delicious.

Great facilities. My family definitely enjoyed the indoor pool, and my request for a crib was honored.

This place is a gem. For what their price is you are treated like royalty her. Heated pool. Private bar & scrum my breakfast It's a deal for a class experience & great attention to detail. Loveliest of hosts who are true hosts.
