Breakfast was amazing, as was the pool Bar. But the main restaurant was disappointing.

Very welcoming staff. Comfy and spacious rooms. Great service. Walking distance from centre.

Nice little village with pretty houses with a yard full of different trees and plants. Everyone was very nice and the kids loved the swimming pool.

Really nice stay at this hotel. The location is very good only 5 mins from the lake and at the same point so close to the center and so easy to find a parking for your car since there is the public car around 5 min walking. The room was quite big for two people and there was a fridge , there were soap for shower and the check in and check out process was so smooth. The super market was 2 min walking distance. Amazing place I'll go again for sure.

This place is laidback and inviting, with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to relax, and a rooftop view that won't quit. Breakfast was fantastic. The staff were lovely. You can lie by the pool under a tree, with peekaboo views to the sea, with your Mythos beer. We loved the quieter location, an easy walk from town. Great room, great experience.

The general appearance of the place is great. It's clean and it looks fresh. The room was also nice and clean and the kitchenette equipment was in good shape. The terace was like an extra room and had a nice view all the way to the sea. The beds were good. The pool was clean and the kids loved it. The staff was wonderful.

We absolutely loved the hotel. We had a beautiful room with seaview. But the absolute best experience there were the lovely owners of this place. They were just great with our two babies, took care of them so we could eat a delicious breakfast in the morning. And our kids loved it to, all the attention, the singing and dancing. We would definitely recommend it to stay here, make sure you book seaview!

We got a room with very nice view. Top floor, sea and mountains and islands - all visible. Balcony was almost the size as a room and we enjoyed spending our evenings there. Hotel itself was located in a quiet part of town, but restaurants and bars were very close by.

I’m so impressed with the food- really yummy. Quality meats, great variety of veggies and they changed it up every night. Staff were very friendly, rooms were large. 10 minute walk into town.

As part of our honeymoon trip, we intended to know Crete and chose Daios Cove for our stay. But the resort is so good that we didn’t got out of it. The room is spacious, modern and cosi. The pool and beach area and the views are wonderful. The restaurants are excellent, specially the Ocean, where we brightly closed our last night. Do recommend. Finally, the staff is impeccable.

View & on a quiet beach . Power boat rentals. 5 dollar taxi ride to center of town or 1 mile walk.

Our second time in this hotel and we will come back. Just in front of the Ammoudara Beach. Put on your swimwear and walk to the beach. Staff are doing their best to make you comfortable and they succeed.

Was very clean. With a great surprise, we were upgraded to a room with a private pool, and just off the front lobby. So close to everything and did not have to get into a small elevator each time coming and going from the room!

Great pool, amazingly looking hotel and the room, very modern and chic. We had a pretty small private garden at the entrance of the room. Staff amazing, very friendly and a family vibe, helpful and always ready for you, best aspect, they were amazing! Super pretty entrance to the hotel, everywhere with a lot of plants.

Maria and the entire hotel staff were exceptional! Maria went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing—she is truly one in a million, and we feel so blessed to have met her. The breakfast was outstanding, and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Maria also recommended a wonderful five-hour boat trip from Agios Nikolaos to Spinalonga Island, which included a delicious lunch and swimming—an unforgettable experience! This was the first hotel we stayed at in Greece, and what an amazing way to start our honeymoon. You will not regret booking a stay at Mare Hotel—highly recommend!

What a pretty and nice place to stay! Restaurants are all close here, even downstairs, very convenient for living. Householder is super patient and kind. Overall, I’m amazed by this good place.

We’ve stayed at the superior room with private swimming pool, it was really great. The room was very cosy, bed was very comfortable. Good breakfast, the staff were very friendly and provided good tips.
