There are only three small cottages at the site, and the place is very clean and well-maintained. The owner and his family were very kind and helpful. The food was delicious and varied. We also took advantage of several offered tours, including snorkeling – there are some beautiful diving and snorkeling spots about 30 minutes away. When we went on full-day trips, they also gave us a full meal on the go. Even the house reef right in front of the accommodation was lovely for snorkeling, with plenty of marine life, with no currents. Data signal was only available in the evenings, but very reliable.

We stayed at Rosye Homestay and it was truly a special experience. What makes this place exceptional is the friendly, family atmosphere that you can feel from the very first moment. We actually moved to another accommodation for two days, but then decided to come back here — because you can simply feel where you belong and where you feel good. And this is that place. Arlan goes above and beyond by showing you the local culture, traditions, and beautiful hidden spots around the area. Locally owned, always ready to help and the place is brand new (february). We were the only people there and the food was always tasty. Lunchboxes were also great when we were out on trips. Of course out here it is more basic, but for what you can expect in the area it is great. One room is fully ready with one more pretty much done and another already in the works.

The location was perfect for freediving the front beach in the mornings and the back area in the afternoon (should be experienced for the back). Plenty of tours to take you to main attractions in the area booked through the host Thomas. Sunsets, good host cooked food, and a chance to disconnect and relax.

Newly built homestay run by amazing hardworking family. The mother cooks the most delicious food, she even bakes pastry on the beach. They offer trips for reasonable prices and just around the island you can snorkel on the famous beautiful Pam wall. It was the best homestay out of all we stayed in Raja Ampat.
