Beach Hotels in Kri

It felt like a family. We all sat together every night and talked about our days, our dives, and future plans. I made lifelong friendships. The dive center is everything I wanted, small groups, lots of dive sites.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gibran guesthouse located in Kri island. The ocean view rooms are just above water and you can just junp into the ocean from your porch ready to snorkel. The room and the common areas were clean The toilet is outside the room. The food is good and quantities are enough. They told us that in July they wikk do some renovation work in the rooms. The service was perfect and we did a couple of excursions with the team. They were very attentive with my 73 years old father. We recommend this Guesthouse. Thank you very much.

We started our one month trip in Raja Ampat at Warahnus for five nights and I gotta say it was absolutely awesome! The rooms have private bathrooms and comfy beds. They also have very nice wooden decks connected to the rooms where you can overlook one of the best beaches I have seen. I went diving a couple of days with the connected dive center and felt very well taken care of during the dives. Food was a little scarce the first day but drastically improved. Oh, and unlike many places in Raja Ampat they actually have a fridge with cold sodas and beer. The staff speaks good english and were very easy to communicate with regarding transports to and from the island and excursions. Would absolutely return!

Alfred the host was incredibly welcoming and gave us an amazing feeling that we are wanted! The food was delicious and the simple cabin gave us the experience like we are on a lonely island like we wanted! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We (a couple) stayed here for a whole week in January 2025 with two friends. Accommodation is very basic, however, it came with a toilet and private shower which wasn't offered at our other place we stayed on in Gam, so a+ for a toilet. The owners were friendly and very helpful with helping us fix/arrange anything we needed. For example, my husband had gotten food poisoning from something he ate in Bali and they helped us go to the hospital. A toilet seat was missing and they sorted it immediately. We went on three trips with them to these places: Friwen Wall, Yenbuba Jetty, Cape Kri (which is about 5 minutes away), Manta Point (twice), Melissa's Garden along with Piaynemo, and Sauwandarek village. The guide Afek was great and an amazing swimmer who could freedive quite deep. He pointed out anything he spotted and was very hospitable and accommodating. He was such a nice guy and although there was a language barrier, it was easy to tell he was really genuine. Prepare long sleeve clothes as we got swarmed by jellyfish at Cape Kri. Other things we liked: * You can pay using Wise for excursions which was helpful. * The data was a bit spotty, but mostly worked on the terrace. *The food was delicious! It was the best food we had in Raja Ampat. They ensured we had fresh fruit every day and each meal was more than filling and fresh. They had a common area where you can meet the others staying there which was great in the evening. *They cleaned the room each day which was nice too! *Lots of incredible sunsets!

Herman, Etlin, and their family run a lovely homestay. Every meal was DELICIOUS and they catered to dietary restrictions (vegetarian/pescatarian). The beds were comfy and rooms were clean. It is a small homestay with four cabins and it was perfect. We had a lovely over water cabin and we were able to sit on the deck enjoying the view. They went above and beyond for my birthday and helped my friend arrange a cake — it was so very special. They even surprised us with a special dinner that night <3 Herman helped us with all boat transfers and made it very easy for us to get to our next location. We would recommend this homestay to anyone and would definitely come back.

The little cottage was on the most beautiful side of Kri Island with spectacular sunrise and sunsets- a spacious clean and comfortable cottage. The owners wife prepared 3 delicious local meals every day, and it was amazing to sit on veranda with the sea a few steps away, and enjoy your home cooked meals!

Location was great, the reef in front was very beautiful.

The location is incredible. Sleeping over the water is a lovely experience and there were so many little fish! There were no mosquitoes and lots of stars.

Fabulous coral reef right in front of cabin. Good food, but basic and no choice. Nice staff. The deck outside the cabin overlooking the beach and ocean was great. Loved having the chairs, table and hammock.

Idyllic...what a pleasure. I stayed in the Sunrise cabin overlooking the sea, and the whole time I had to pinch myself. It exceeded my expectations. The reef was dreamy. The staff. The rest of the guests. Silence and peace...you couldn't ask for more. Oh yes...the dive center was very professional. I know I'll be back.
